Location, Location, Location & Helpful Profesional Staff!. A Complementary Breakfast available early morning!
The location but not worth the price!
Ideally located within the airport; perfect for a quick overnight stay and to catch a plane the next morning.

We just needed a nice place to sleep close to the airport when we arrived near midnight in Barcelona. There is a convenient municipal bus stop beside the hotel, allowing us to avoid expensive Barcelona taxi service.

It's quiet, but that's because it is so far away from anything. You can hear people in the halls.
Very good Staff and good service.
All staff were friendly, patient, professional. Hotel employee at reception in particular went out of his way to provide guidance for which we are grateful. Both breakfast and dinner were of high quality and reasonably priced.

Great 5-star hotel that has excellent customer services. Amazing breakfast also!

Well appointed rooms and clean
The room was clean and there was a balcony. Staff was helpful and gave us directions to the nearest market when our plane arrived late instead of us buying small snacks in lobby. Security guard stationed at door.
The rooms were ok. But the hotel lobby needs improvement. The hallways are outdated and looks more like a motel. The streets leading to this hotel are dirty and one can say even scary.

Top Tips
- Secure your hotel by booking 2-3 months ahead, especially during high-demand times like summer, La Mercè (September), or Mobile World Congress. Advance booking often yields quieter rooms and up to 20% better rates compared to last-minute reservations.
- Plan your transfer from Barcelona-El Prat (BCN) in advance. The Aerobús (A1/A2) departs every 5-10 minutes and reaches Plaça Catalunya in 30-40 minutes for €5.90 (approx. $6.40). Taxis cost €30-40 (approx. $33-$43) to central hotels, plus an airport supplement. Confirm with your hotel for possible shuttle or pick-up options.
- Bring a valid passport or EU national ID for check-in, as hotels register guests per Spanish law. Budget €1-3.50 (approx. $1.10-$3.80) per person, per night for the local tourist tax, payable at check-in or check-out.
- For quieter nights, request a courtyard-facing or upper-floor room in central neighborhoods like the Gothic Quarter or Barceloneta, where evening noise is common. Hotels in Eixample, Gràcia, or Sant Martí/Poblenou tend to be quieter while staying within 2-3 km of major sights.
- Tipping in Barcelona is modest. Offer €1-2 (about $1.10-$2.20) per bag to porters and to housekeeping daily. Consider 5-10% for exceptional restaurant service; tips are appreciated but not required.
- Learning greetings like 'Hola' (hello) and 'Gracias' (thank you) in Catalan or Spanish is appreciated, even as most hotel staff speak English. These gestures help you connect with staff or locals.
- Check your hotel's check-in (typically from 14:00) and check-out (usually 11:00-12:00) policies when booking. Ask if luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures, as this is common in Barcelona hotels.
- Use in-room safes or the hotel’s main safe for valuables, as pickpocketing can occur in busy areas like La Rambla or the metro. Confirm availability at reception or during check-in if needed.
- Most restaurants begin dinner service at 20:00. If you have an early tour, request an early breakfast box from your hotel or locate a nearby 24-hour café, as many hotel breakfasts do not start before 07:00.
- Tap into the concierge or front desk for booking timed attraction tickets like Sagrada Família or Camp Nou, as many dates sell out in advance. Staff can also help with restaurant or transport reservations if needed.
- Transport strikes occasionally affect the metro, bus, and airport routes. Download taxi apps like Free Now as a backup, or confirm alternate routes, such as RENFE trains, at your hotel’s front desk ahead of travel.
- Confirm high-speed Wi-Fi and meeting room access if traveling for business. Barcelona uses Type C/F plugs (230 V/50 Hz), so bring a suitable adapter or check if reception provides loaners.
- Families should request cribs, connecting rooms, or child-friendly amenities when booking, as many Barcelona hotels provide these on request. Ask about early breakfast or kid's menus for smoother mornings.
- Solo travelers can enhance safety by choosing hotels with 24-hour reception, well-lit entrances, and strong guest reviews in central neighborhoods. Use licensed taxi apps or hotel-recommended providers after dark.
- Check recent guest reviews for details on noise, air conditioning, or staff responsiveness, as these often affect satisfaction more than star ratings. Many hotels address guest feedback within 48 hours.
