New. Clean. Great showers. Good breakfast selection.
The hotel uses regular utensils for breakfast instead of disposable ones, which is uncommon for hotels that provide breakfast. This simple choice prevents a tremendous amount of single-use plastic from entering landfills. Thank you!

Top Tips
- Book 2-3 months ahead for College Station events, as hotel rates typically rise 30-50% during Texas A&M football weekends (September-November). Booking early secures availability at base rates of $100-$150 USD per night for mid-range hotels. Visit official Texas A&M schedules to verify your dates.
- Expect a combined 13-15% hotel tax in College Station: 6% state hotel occupancy tax and about 7% local tax. Traveling during Texas tax-free weekends (usually in August or October) can reduce your total by $15 per night for eligible accommodations. Confirm tax-free eligibility when booking.
- Hotels in the Northgate district are 5-10 minutes on foot from Texas A&M but carry 20-30% higher prices and increased noise from student activity. Families and those seeking quieter stays discover 15-25% lower rates plus more amenities in areas like Wolf Pen Creek.
- Most hotels offer in-room or business center Wi-Fi at 50-100 Mbps speeds. During university events, public area speeds may drop by 20-30% due to high demand. Verify business center access with your hotel if reliable remote work is a priority.
- From June to November, hurricane season may cause brief outages. Around 70% of branded hotels in College Station have backup generators, providing greater power reliability during possible 1-3 hour disruptions. Ask your hotel about generator coverage when booking if travel overlaps these months.
- Request accessible features, such as step-free access, elevators, or widened doorways, at booking. While 80-90% of properties comply with ADA standards in College Station, specifying your needs helps avoid the 10-20% with small barriers.
- Use credit cards for hotel payments in College Station to avoid ATM surcharges ($3-$5 per withdrawal). Around 90% of hotels waive foreign transaction fees, and choosing to pay in USD at checkout minimizes conversion markups in tourist areas by Texas A&M.
