There was nothing about this hotel that was good! Roaches in the room the bedding was dirty the chair was nasty! There was no folding couch! I slept in my Tahoe instead of the nasty room!

I was delighted with this hotel, as it surpassed my expectations -- it was spotless, quiet, comfortable room temp, huge room, lovely staff both checking in and checking out. I couldn't give it any higher rating --- oh, and the price was outstanding!!

The power went out the first night I was there and would be off for some times close to 12 hours at a time 90% of the staff were awesome the rest treated you like dirt I wanted just to get my money back they wouldn?t they would give me any money back

Its perfect blend of old Richmond and modern amenities make it a true gem in the heart of downtown. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed absolute peace and quiet. Being yards away from the state capitol grounds for my morning run.

My experience changed drastically once staff put me in a non-smoking room to the back of the building. It was quiet and the room & linen was super clean compared to the smoking side. If you book for nonsmoking just make sure to clarify at checkin.
