Loved the outdoor pool, however a hot tub is needed. Yes, I know it gets warm there, but after a long day Breakfast with the omelet bar was incredible. Cappuccino machine was a good addition since we stayed there last. Enjoyed the evening cookies.

Top Tips
- Book your Wenatchee hotel well in advance for peak seasons like the Apple Blossom Festival (spring), summer river season, and fall apple harvest (September-October); rates can increase 20-30% during high-demand periods.
- Select your hotel location based on planned activities. Downtown properties offer walkability to Pybus Public Market and restaurants, while those with easy highway access are convenient for trips to Mission Ridge Ski Area or Leavenworth.
- Rent a car for flexibility, as Wenatchee is car-dependent with limited public transit. Confirm hotel parking availability and check for airport shuttles to Pangborn Memorial Airport (EAT) or local rideshare options, which may be sparse in the evenings.
- Verify amenities like free breakfast, in-room refrigerators, or pool hours when traveling with family. Many hotels are pet-friendly but may charge per-night fees, so confirm policies in advance.
- Business travelers should confirm high-speed Wi-Fi, in-room desks, and any meeting room access for productivity. Some hotels also offer electric vehicle charging stations.
- Prepare for Wenatchee's variable weather. Pack layers for sudden temperature changes, confirm hotel snow removal in winter, and check the Air Quality Index (AQI) in summer for potential wildfire smoke. Choose flexible cancellation policies, as severe weather can impact travel.
- Adhere to quiet hours, often enforced from 10 PM to 7 AM, and observe standard U.S. tipping etiquette: 15-20% for restaurant service, $15 per bag for bellhops, and $15 per day for housekeeping.
- Leverage hotel staff for current local recommendations on restaurants, orchard tours, winery visits, or activities such as exploring the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for booking, as hotels typically place a hold for incidentals. Expect Washington state and local lodging taxes, which can add 10-12% to your room rate.
- Inquire about hotel partnerships for local experiences, such as apple orchard or winery tours, or discounts for activities at Mission Ridge Ski & Snowboard Area, located approximately 12 miles (19 km) from downtown.
- Explore Wenatchee's local flavors by asking staff about farm-to-table restaurants, cideries, or craft breweries that feature regional produce, especially apples.
- Confirm ADA-accessible room availability and any specific needs, such as roll-in showers or mobility aids, by contacting the hotel directly in advance.
- Consult traveler reviews on sites like TripAdvisor to assess cleanliness, service, and amenities. Aim for properties with consistent 4-star or higher ratings for reliability.
