Anything I asked for was there in ten to fifteen minutes.Extra pillows, extra blanket. The housekeepers went that extra mile. My last visit took two days to get extra pillows for my shoulder.I had shoulder surgery. When I booked the room, asked for them

The rooms are nice, recently updated. Good coffee surprisingly. The rooms come with a Keurig, so you can bring your own coffee if you have one. But the walk-in shower is my favorite. Really nice touch. Wish I had a walk-in shower at my place
The location and cleanliness
The staff was very caring, which is after all the most important thing. I forgot my phone charger and they lent me one. I felt well looked after during my stay. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, and a huge Walmart next door.

Top Tips
- Book hotels 21-28 days before arrival to save 12-18% compared to last-minute rates in Manassas. This booking window offers both availability and discounted pricing, especially during local events.
- Hotel prices near the Manassas Convention Center can spike 35-50% during Civil War reenactments. Consider staying in Gainesville, 15 minutes east, for rates averaging 20% lower. Check shuttle or transit options if you do not have a car.
- Check if the hotel rate includes Virginia’s 14.5% lodging tax, which combines state and local charges. Some online rates appear pre-tax, causing a 15% bill increase at checkout if you are not aware.
- Choose hotels near I-66 Exit 44 for direct HOV-66 access, which can cut commute times to Washington D.C. by 18-22 minutes at peak vs. non-HOV routes. Confirm weekday HOV rules if using a carpool or ride-share.
- Request a room on the side away from the Norfolk Southern rail line on West Street, as nearby properties may experience 8-12 train noise events per hour after 10 PM. Rear-facing rooms report 70% fewer noise complaints.
- For early flights, stay near Manassas Regional Airport (HEF), where hotels often offer free shuttles with 10-15 minute pickup windows. Rental car supply can drop by 40% on weekends during event demand, so reserve vehicles in advance.
- If you plan to work remotely, verify Wi-Fi speed: business hotels average 60-85 Mbps, while budget chains average 45-55 Mbps. During Civil War event weeks, expect speeds to decrease by up to 40% due to congestion.
- Manassas hotels typically do not charge resort fees, in contrast to some Northern Virginia cities where these fees can be $15 to $40. Any additional fee beyond your room and taxes should be questioned.
- Hotels near the Manassas VRE station, such as Residence Inn, offer free shuttle service for a 5-minute trip to the station. The public transit ride to D.C. Union Station is about 45 minutes, avoiding $15 or more in tolls and parking.
- Request an accessible or step-free room early, as only 30% of local properties have two or more ADA-compliant rooms. During peak events, availability drops by 60%, so call the hotel to confirm features like roll-in showers.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) if offered at check-in, as it adds 3-5% in hidden fees. Always pay in US dollars to avoid unnecessary markups.
- Manassas tap water meets all EPA safety standards and has had no boil advisories since 2020. There is no need to purchase bottled water for your room.
