The best thing we liked was the location to the IGA for groceries and grill items, the short distance to the pier, and close proximity to some local restaurants. It was very clean and spacious. They switched us to a king instead of 2 queens easily.

Top Tips
- Confirm whether your North Myrtle Beach hotel is a traditional hotel with a 24/7 staffed front desk or a privately managed condo with keycode access and remote management before booking. This impacts your check-in experience and on-site support. Review property details for service hours and amenity access.
- Expect a 15-25 minute (15-20 mile) transfer from Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) to central North Myrtle Beach. Rideshare or taxi fares are typically $25-$45 USD one way (excluding surge pricing). Confirm rates in advance, especially during major events or peak season.
- Hurricane season in North Myrtle Beach runs June 1-November 30, with the highest risk in August and September. Book flexible or cancellable rates, and review the property's storm cancellation policy before travel.
- Summer holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) usually bring rates two to three times higher than off-season. Book 45-90+ days ahead for better choice and lower rates.
- Parking and resort fees at Ocean Boulevard and beachfront hotels can add $15-$30 USD daily. If 'parking included' is important, verify it in the rate details before booking.
- Wi-Fi speeds vary: branded hotels often offer stable business speeds, while condos and vacation rentals may only provide 10-50 Mbps, with fluctuations. If fast Wi-Fi is critical, inquire before booking.
- Not all beachfront accommodations have elevators, and many low-rise condo blocks and older motels are stairs-only. Confirm step-free or elevator access if you require accessible accommodation.
- Barefoot Landing, a popular attraction, is walkable from many North Myrtle Beach hotels. Other sites like Broadway at the Beach are 10-12 miles (20-30 minutes by car) away. Check local transit or rideshare times during peak season for up-to-date trip planning.
- Pet fees range $25-$75 USD per night, with possible breed and weight restrictions. Check specific fees and designated pet relief areas before booking to ensure a smooth stay.
- Rideshare and local transit in North Myrtle Beach can have patchy coverage, especially late at night during peak season. Allow 30-60+ minutes for late-night pickups, and use hotel staff recommendations for local transport alternatives if needed.
