This is a nice location, it?s an older place but was updated at some point. It is kind of quiet. It is a ways from downtown but we ended up walking to the zombie crawl after the Trolley system stiffed us and left us. The owners were nice though.
Nothing. I am an avid traveler and I have never seen such a mess of a lodging facility before.

The Food
Hosts and food were well beyond expectations. Room was huge with great decor. Bed was on softer side. Balcony was very relaxing. I said hotels at double the cost don't compare. My friend age 70 said in many years of B&B's, this was the best ever!

Top Tips
- Request a ground-floor room or confirm elevator access before booking, since over 80% of historic inns in Eureka Springs rely on interior staircases with no elevator due to Victorian construction. To ensure step-free access, ask if ADA-compliant rooms or ramp entry are available before finalizing your reservation.
- Downtown street parking is limited, and some historic inns provide as few as 2-5 on-site spaces. Secure lodging with dedicated parking to avoid searching one-way streets or paying up to $15 per day in public lots.
- Book your stay 4-8 weeks in advance for high-demand periods: summer weekends, peak foliage in October, and December's 'Dickens of a Christmas.' Prices can rise by 20% or more near these dates, so check event calendars for exact festival schedules.
- Choose a compact rental car for easier navigation and parking, as downtown streets average just 20 feet wide and public lots are compact. Compare vehicle size before booking to avoid extra maneuvering or parking fees.
- Request documented Wi-Fi speeds for remote work use, as many B&Bs offer 5-20 Mbps service which may not support video calls reliably. For higher speeds, select a chain hotel on US-62, since they typically list business-grade internet in room descriptions.
- The Crescent Hotel offers historic ambiance along with on-site parking and nightly ghost tours. It sits 0.3 miles (480 meters) above downtown, requiring a 5-10 minute uphill walk or quick shuttle ride. Check shuttle schedules if walking uphill is a concern.
- Some outlying inns use private wells, so the water may taste different or require bottled water for sensitive guests. Confirm if a property uses municipal water if you have specific needs, or ask about water filtration or on-site bottled water availability.
- Check check-in and check-out times in advance, as B&Bs often enforce a narrow window, such as 3-6 p.m. check-in, and may require a host to be present. Request flexibility before arrival if you expect early or late travel.
- Pet policies can vary, with some motels and inns charging $15-50 cleaning fees, while others limit pets to ground-floor rooms only. Call ahead to confirm policy details, fees, and room location if traveling with animals.
- Few local inns hold green certifications. If sustainability matters, ask about specific practices such as linens reused after 2 or more nights or energy-efficient lighting rather than national certification. Confirm property policies with the front desk before booking.
