Staff worked hard and tried to alleviate issues that came up. View was great for rooms overlooking river. If they staff people, this hotel is great. Since they didn't staff it adequately (even tho paid full price), not as good as could be.

The location is fantastic. The staff changed our room to one along the river. The rooms are snug, but the decks off the building along the river are comfortable and wonderfully situated. The restaurant was nice and spacious as was the entire main lodge.

The cabin is a very nice lovelee location little bit outside of Talkeetna, the room is very nice, and the room equipped with a lot of stuff. Such as kitchen, kitchegear, makeup remover etc.
What did I like?? I loved everything!! Everything was in place, very very clean. We stayed 4 days and I could have lived there it was so nice.

The owner has a gift for hospitality. Fresh baked ginger cookies waiting for us upon arrival. Much concern for every detail and every precaution taken with COVID. Friendly cozy atmosphere made it feel like home. Every detail is thoughtfully executed.
We loved the history and atmosphere of the Road House. We felt very welcome and the bakery items were excellent!The location is exceptional for visiting all areas of the town. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

The best hotel stay I've ever had. The staff was amazing went out of their way to ensure I had a shuttle ride both ways to the train. Location was perfect right of Talkeetna river

The room was quite clean and comfortable. A little small for the luggage we had. Chase was an excellent manager for the hostel type of lodging facility. Kitchen was well stocked, clean and modern.
