W Hotel Minneapolis The Foshay

Location and overall style.

Overnight parking with the valet was $65. Also the bathroom door did not close all the way.

Location and cleaniness

No free WiFi, had to pay an early check in charge, electricity went out and it had to be reset! Didn’t like that there were items in the fridge when we wanted to use it.

Location & Bar

Mon & Tues the 27th floor bar was closed. Gym was 'so-so' for a 4 start hotel & piped music way too loud. All gym users have their own earphones

Location and ambience

Girls fighting outside my room and banging doors all night.

The location was perfect between US Bank Stadium and Target Field. It was an excellent deal for the price we paid, beyond what we expected.

Getting stuck on the 30th floor for 30 minutes, water in the shower was nonexistent and water was cold

It was very unique and cool looking.

Our room was very disappointing. The sheets were visibly dirty and we had to request they be changed. The vent above the toilet was filthy and dusty. There were no washcloths, which was just inconvenient. But the floor needed vacuuming.

Great location and decor.

They didn¿t turn on the air conditioning when it was in the high 80s for a couple days. The room was stuffy and warm, and we had to repeatedly request a fan.

I liked the location best although parking was too expensive. Off street parking is difficult to find.

I expected the room to be much better for the price... It was an average room, no bells or whistles.

Great location, rooftop observation deck. Good gym. Clean.

Older building, so very noisy (elevators, ice machine).

Nothing. I checked out early and went to another hotel.

My high expectations for the W hotel properties are ruined after staying at the Minneapolis location. The room was incredibly small and uncomfortable. I can't say the room was dirty, however it felt old and dark. Also, the phone in the room did not work.

The bar hours were pretty slim and we struggled a bit with housekeeping service

Great hotel in great location. Classic place.

The shower door was broken. Hard to imagine how this was missed and appeared to have been in this condition for more than an acceptable time. A full glass door that could easily caused severe damage and possibly a danger. I did not utilize the shower.

Parking valet at check in friendly and helpful. On Check out with different person, not so much even after gratuity. Basic room selected and it was small! Had to pay extra for wi fi...Manny's steakhouse was listed as closed on Monday's but is not.

I m a huge fan of the W hotel me and my boyfriend always stay there when we travel if they have them in the state. Always wonderful service and cleanliness.

I will say however the upgrades the W have done to some of the rooms are not that great. The color scheme is one of my favorites and I m not disappointed in the new blue and gold. What was a let down was the crooked TV, messy paint job.

The location.

Our room was almost freezing cold, and there wasn't a bellhop available for our shopping bags and overnight bag, nor a baggage cart anywhere to be found.

The morning check in lady on 11/21/19. She was so sweet and helpful. The lobby visuals of the hotel was the best part.

I did not like the upper staff here at this hotel. They were rude to my guests and me. I could not believe this hotel and how they handled things.
