Hotel Restaurant Zum Hirschen

Not a brand new Hotel but renovated rooms and bath. Perfect stay for a golfer weekend.

Dining room / breakfast rather old fashioned but ok. Clean, friendly, good service, nice breakfast

Reception very kindly waited until nearly midnight for me after I had serious train delays.

Wonderfull staff, great location, excellent facilities, hearty breakfast, there is nothing not to like about this hotel, simply perfect and highly recommended.

Room was enormous! Very comfortable. Plus was having an elevator for the 3rd floor rooms.

Hard to gain access-limited front office hours. Once someone was there, it was terrific. We thought breakfast options were a little subpar, but what was there, was good .

Nice, newly renovated and clean rooms with great bath. Breakfast was disappointing.

Owner stayed open after hours to welcome me when my train was 1hour late

The location is center.

The fitness room was unfortunately being renovated. The pillows were a bit too soft and would be great if there can be a kettle in the room.

The Hotel is centrally located and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent - as was the breakfast buffet the following morning. The Wellness area (Sauna + whirlpool) was better than I expected for a smaller Hotel. All up great value for money and I would stay there again :)

Well appointed and well located friendly hotel. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good.

We would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Very Clean facility. Breakfast is great and plentiful. Self check-in was very trusting because we arrived passed what we anticipated. There's a small Patio outside our room. We have 2 folding bike we needed to assemble and the patio was a God sent.

I can"t think of anything we did not like.

As a single woman traveler, I felt ignored when it came to restaurant service. I was greeted, presented a menu and had my order taken in a timely manner. When it came time to pay, I felt ignored. Had to wait almost 30 minutes after it was apparent that I had finished my dinner. I was not conversing with any one and had no reason to linger.Also, as a traveler, there was a discount transportation coupon available but it was not immediately offered. Should be offered when checking in.

we booked double room and got twin so we had to moove the bads and furnitures and it was very dusty

Rooms were spacious and clean. Good location. Breakfast was good but would like slightly more variety in fresh fruit and pastry. Staff was excellent!

Great location. Easy walk from the train station Very spacious room. Nice shower room. Good large breakfast buffet. I asked about renting a bicycle in town...the hotel management offered me one of theirs for the afternoon.

The Wi-Fi only worked around the reception on ground floor. Not in the rooms.

The WiFi/Internet was not working. I require it in order to plan my trip and communicate. Most disappointed, totally unsatisfactory. Fellow at the desk seemed unable to do anything to correct it. Ended up sitting outside the train station using the WiFi from the pasta shop after hours. In today’s day and age, not having internet access is a deal breaker.

Nice Hotel, very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Very quit location. Stayed on a bike trip for one night. More than okay.

Both dinner at the restaurant (outdoors - beer garden style) as well as breakfast were tasty and plentyful.Staff was very friendly and patient despite being very busy.

A really excellent family-run hotel. Comfortable room which was spotlessly clean. Even during Covid they made me and the other guests very welcome. Good storage for cycles and a nice restaurant / bar area too.

Nothing - for the price it's a great place to stay.
