Beautiful property in the heart of Winchester making it very easy to explore the City and enjoy all there is to offer there. Very quiet, comfortable rooms, relaxed and delicious breakfast.

Great location, very friendly staff, Elsa organised parking for us just a few minutes before we arrived. Lovely room and super clean.

Pillows too dense for my taste.

The hotel is beautiful with well-thought and character details, well maintained, clean, with comfortable bedding. It has on-site parking and a garden terrace. The service we experienced was very welcoming.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was excellent for access to museums, cathedral and shopping.

The location is very convenient, right on High Street, and parking is also very easy.

The bathroom was not very clean, we were ‘upgraded’ to a garden suite from a junior suite, I’m not convinced the room was any better at all, looking online it’s actually smaller and we had to walk outside in the rain to get to it. The breakfast was really disappointing.

Excellent location for Winchester centre, plenty of parking that can also be reserved, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bed and room, the whole hotel had a lovely ambience and decor, very child/toddler friendly including travel cot and dining menu, where staff made us feel particularly welcome and they were very patient with toddler eating habits, delicious food and an appropriate dress code of smart casual for the bistro - suited the ambience well.

It’s not the budget option but you do get what you pay for, the quality of your stay will be excellent. There’s no lift, which didn’t matter for us and it adds to the charm, but it might matter to some.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. One of the only hotels in Winchester with their own carpark.

Paying for parking

Excellent location, facilities and staff. Loved the breakfast too!

Didn’t have mulled wine over Christmas, which was disappointing but otherwise a lovely little bar.

The decor was nice and the room and bathroom a nice size.Great location for town.

Room was too hot and the pillows not comfortable. Tea facilities stored in the wardrobe so you had to take it all out and plug it in elsewhere to use. Quite a lot of road noise as the room was at the front of the hotel.

The location was excellent. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly.

The building itself was beauty and outside the added cubby for smokers like my partner to sit under was nice.

The fact you had to pay for parking. That should be included in the price. Even with the fact they only have 33 spaces to be hit with this ok topOf the room cost is a bit steep. The breakfasts were also lacking for the extra paid. The continental was good but as my partner doesn’t eat that and likes hot , when it arrived it was lacking in substance and unfortunately like warm. Mine and his poached eggs were not runny poached they were soft boiled which was also a let down.

Property was in a great location. Small problem with room which was dealt with quickly by upgrading to another room.

Absolutely adore the building! Loved the accessories in the bathroom, the coffee tray, plenty of teabags :-)

We couldn't turn the heating nor the fan off so the room was boiling, had to sleep with the door propped open. The bathtub was very old

Room noisy - traffic noise and adjacent rooms.

Walking distance to the Cathedral and the high street yet it’s quiet . Staff are friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs especially Elsa . Goo food at the Bistro
