- The setting was very pretty, and everything was well cared for with lovely gardens. Good location for visiting the area. The room was comfortable, and easy to walk to on the flat. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices The staff were lovely, very helpful and kind
- Its location nearly on top of tumulus but a long walk away from stones. A wonderful resort location.

Cons -
- There were a few minor things in our room that would have made it more useable eg. Hooks in the bathroom for robes or towels near the shower. Somewhere to put toiletries in the shower. A handbasin in the toilet. We were a bit disappointed with the evening meals, for the same price we have had more interesting food. There was a distinct lack of vegetables. However, it was very convenient not to have to go out after a day sightseeing, and it was all cooked beautifully.
