TownePlace Suites by Marriott Des Moines Urbandale

The staff was excellent and the breakfast was hot and everything was full

The hot tub was not working, no fault to the hotel just bummed

The hotel was clean

There was a high school marching band staying there that was running the halls most of the night and staying in the room adjacent. They were loud and obnoxious until at least 4 am. We attempted to call the front desk with no response multiple times.

Stayed here many times. Great location. Reliably clean and a good value! Also love having Texas Roadhouse right next door!

.Close to interstate¿..Clean

Small king room¿¿.. breakfast cold¿¿.. outdated

Staff very friendly. Good breakfast. Clean room.

The window AC unit blows right into sofa/sofa bed and too close to bed.. Three of us got a very bad cold after the first night. First time ever seeing such a room arrangement. No body likes sleeping at the a/c vent!

location good price Shower head was great. full, thick and high. I really appreciated the double desk options for my work, computer and to have the pull out desk to create my work space.

No concerns here. Had everything needed

Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Nice people at the front desk. Hot breakfast.

It's like extended stay. Has the kitchen full size coffee pot and stovetop. Dishwasher. Laundry downstairs. Pretty clean. Not a bad price for a everything.

Housekeeping is serious. Will want to clean your room at 8 am ¿¿

Price, location and the extra kind employees. Stayed several different times and never had a problem. Had a king room with extra small TV. Breakfast was good. extra strong coffee

housekeeping is good for a early Wake up call(sign is out not to bother). It's ok ¿¿ they are always hard at work.

Overall a great stay! Friendly staff, clean room and the bed was comfortable. Really appreciate the kitchenette in the room. Did not get a chance to take advantage of the free breakfast. Internet connection was great as I worked during the day.

A warning, this is an older hotel with a bit of wear and tear in your room, outdated decor, and you can also hear the people above you walk when they hit a soft spot in the floor that squeaks.

We were in town for a family emergency and the staff here was very understanding. They allowed us use of a conference room for a family dinner at no cost and were great as we extended our reservation multiple times.

The room was large and the full size refrigerator in the kitchen was very helpful. I loved the comfy sofa for relaxing! The breakfast selection was outstanding and the sweet lady in charge of the area was very attentive to keeping all the items full.

The room was very clean and about everything needed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Had plenty of room to walk my dog and they did have bags available.

Would¿ve liked a keurig coffee maker. Coffee wasn¿t so good.

The location and that it had breakfast.

The room was not very clean and smelled like someone had smoked in it.

breakfast

I am still waiting on the 80 dollars they were gonna reverse back to my card because they charged wrong

Location is great, right next to Texas Roadhouse and the interstate. Staff was friendly. Rooms with full kitchens and room was clean.

Only complaint is their covid restrictions. Have to reserve the pool and fitness room.

Clean large room with Kitchenette and large refrigerator/freezer. Nice staff!

Location.

Room was dirty. Worn residue on chair cushion, tables were chipped and scratched. Food splattered on wall next to dining table. Rust spots in tub. No remotes to TVs in bedrooms. Fridge was not clean. It was an overall horrible stay. Very disappointed.

Perfect size room and amenities..

Only thing I would say i didn't like was no pop machines on the floors..otherwise awesome place.

Price, had a hot tub, full kitchen.
