On the corner of 9th and Hennepin in the heart of Minneapolis’s historic theater district, The Chambers Hotel takes center stage. Built in 1908, The Chambers has had a front-row seat to the legendary Orpheum Theater’s groundbreaking performances, from the Marx Brothers’ vaudeville act to Prince’s hometown debut. Simple but comfortable hotel. Got upgraded to a huge room. Very quiet, as I requested, despite being in downtown. Amazing water pressure, everything you need in the room. Great location, nearby good restaurants and bars, easy to move around in downtown from there. Good price. Breakfast is always the same, but works, has the basics. Little gym, enough for a travel workout.
