The Liberty, A Marriott Luxury Collection Hotel - All Inclusive Reviews Rating
Very Good
Review summary
The hotel boasts a prime location and beautifully renovated accommodations, which many guests found appealing, along with a variety of high-quality dining options that enhanced their stay. However, several reviews pointed out significant drawbacks, such as uncomfortable beds and pillows, small rooms, and cleanliness issues in common areas. While the staff received praise for their politeness and attentiveness, guests noted a lack of warmth and engagement from the front desk, highlighting a need for improved management to address these concerns.

Location, ambience, staff, restaurants and the lounge
The hotel is not a luxury hotel, just an expensive hotel. The leather couch in our room was so worn the Salvation Army would probably not accept it as a donation! My wife wouldn’t even sit on it! The porcelain sink was cracked, the door on the refrigerator compartment was on the wrong side so one had to struggle to get into the fridge, and the heating system was so loud it sounded like a jet was taking-off just outside the window! This is not a luxury hotel except for the restaurants, the lounge and the staff—the staff were terrific!

The front desk let me check in early and have a late check out. That was very helpful. Also lik the atmosphere of the lobby area. Very cool and fun.
It looked like my hand soap had been used and put back into a worn box, the body lotion also looked like it has been used. My toilet got clogged and they said they would send someone up, but nobody ever came to fix it before I checked out.

Location of hotel. Decor of the room. Restaurants of high quality
Comfortable chair for reading. Couch in room was not comfortable. I object to the $25 fee on top of the room rate. I received no value for that fee.

Great location. You can walk to anywhere. Good price but with that comes partying kids in the rooms nearby
Hotel is tired and in need of upgrades. Water pressure low and thin walls. Dusty! They seem focused on the success of their bars and restaurants but not the lodging experience.

Staff were amazingly helpful and pleasant. Decor was unique and fun. Location was excellent. The variety of restaurant/bar options added to the experience.
Everything was lovely. The quality of the service provided and the creative design of the space justified the higher than average room rates.
