Good location, courteous staff, clean bed linen nice break fast but should offer Spanish omelette rather than only scrambled eggs.

The bathroom was very clean but had a bit of a bad odour

Super friendly staff, lovely hotel, fabulous location - and the breakfast was delicious!

I liked the staff more than everything in that property. They welcomed us with tea and coffees for free.

The room and the toilet were not the cleanest. The property smells bad.

one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at for a long time. staff at reception were friendly, welcoming and helpful. room was modern but the hotel also had an old worldly feel to it. new and old worlds combined. breakfast was great. freshly made. hotel in the centre of Canterbury - short walk to the shops and the cathedral. also in reach of the train station with a walk.

Central location and very comfortable.

Staff were generally helpful, polite and attentive. Unfortunately the service at breakfast was not great. Only 10 people in the room but waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken.

Having to pay £25 to park in hotel car park which is so small and were lucky to get a space. But £25 when you have already paid a high price for the hotel is extortionate. The breakfast was slow and cold and toast was inedible.

The size of the rooms, the comfortable beds, the large full length mirrors and the air con/heating works fast. I also loved the robes.

The hotel and in particular the rooms are tired. I stayed in room 232 that had a view over the front of the high street. There was a noticeable rumbling noise which, sounded like drilling. This disturbed my sleep. I believe that this vibration noise was due to the lift motor. I only realised this in the morning.

The staff were exceptional, great check in experience and the breakfast restaurant was well run. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town without being too close to some of the busier bars. I've missed Canterbury and you made the trip a lovely one. So thank you!

The price was a little high, especially for the breakfast. Other than that I dont really have a lot to dislike. Maybe the hotel could do with a bit of a refresh? Slightly old looking in some areas ,but that's ok, I like the charm

Staff are all helpful, as we were traveling with a bit of luggage.

The shower was not consistent and it was a little tough to get hot water.

Room was well appointed and in the main area of Canterbury. Easy to go for supper and sight seeing.

I had to request for the slippers 4 times. Even I came down to get it myself but still didn’t get it. Wifi didn’t work the whole stay. Floor carpet in room was moist & a bit stink.

Nice hotel in great area. Convenient and walkable to train station and shopping and cathedral. Short trip to Dover. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful when my husband left his backpack in taxi. A female receptionist went to the location where we tracked it with apple tag and returned it to us. Thank you so much.

We loved staying there. Room was clean and comfortable. The best bed of our two week vacation of many places. Loved the Cathedral view. Close to everything in Canterbury. Staff was very friendly.

Comfortable and great staff

The lift was slightly faulty as the door censor was not working and the lift door smashed into my partner"s arm. Only a slight injury.
