- The location is the best but this hotel is one of my favorites. It seamlessly joins the old and new, the staff are exceptional, the bar staff are friendly and attentive, I really cannot say enough good things about the Wayside Inn Chatham

Location - Main St. Chatham. Great proximity to our favorite restaurants. Service in response to our TV malfunctioning was outstanding. Hotel employee in Maintenance came quickly, & offered to switch our TV with another, and did so.
We were disappointed with the Continental breakfast (8-to-10:30), included in the cost of the room...very little food remaining...dining room employee could not bring out any more fruit, croissants, etc. He stated that it had been busy..
