Overall every was perfect, the location, the property, the bungalow, the food. Everything.

Really beautiful hotel in the countryside. It’s a 3 minute drive from Begur and also close to some nice beaches. The rooms are great, big and clean. The food’s amazing. Would definitely recommend this place.

The room was comfortable with a lovely view. The gardens were beautiful, very pleasant to sit and relax there. The building has been converted very tastefully.

There was not much variety at breakfast. The parking had very uneven ground.

General ambience and location

No laundry service....in a 4 star hotel?! photos of lawn in front of cabins made it look misleadingly large.

Attractive historical building nicely modernised. Tasteful musak.

Poor parking facility on very rough ground. Breakfast options limited, rotten tomatoes were produced two mornings running. The fitness centre did not open until 9am - exercising before breakfast and departure for the day is thus largely excluded.

Great setting and beautiful location

The restaurant which doesn’t staff and space to accommodate all guests, breakfast was average.

Location and fit out.

Didn’t clean the sheets although they were dirty. We had an early tee time and we wanted to grab a croissant from the buffet before the breakfast was formally open, and we were not allowed. Why doesn’t the hotel leave pool towels in the room?

This place is great. location is fantastic (close to the beaches, but remote enough to be quiet). During my stay at Begur, I lost my car key . The staff was incredibly helpful managing the whole situation. They called police station for me, helped me with rental cars, received DHL (with spare key) on my behalf, and kept my luggages extra days until i could get my car back. Really well above what one could expect. Thank you again

We rented one of the cabin. Everything was fine, except the AC that didn't work, and could not be fixed during the 2 days of our stay , and given the temperature in summer...Breakfast was a little chaotic. The poor guy there was completely overwhelmed ! and he wasn't the most experience guy either. Clearly not enough personnel to take care of refilling the buffet, cleaning the tables...all at one, at peak hour

A lot of steps to get around the property; location is a bit isolated; some parts could use a bit of refreshing

Breakfast was perfect and plenty. Location was set in lovely setting and the design and decor of building was beautifully done and simple.

I don’t remember not liking anything. Maybe more English breakfast teabags !!!

staff at reception lovely. Dinner senior members in restaurant attentive, some of the younger staff at breakfast and dinner in need of more hospitality and confidence training. Electricity issues no power in the morning but resolved by 9am. No followup from the hotel to see if anyone was inconvenienced though, even if it wasnt their fault, would have been a nice gesture. Great bread for breakfast. Same each day, eggs and bacon, maybe a dish of the day would be nice.

Got the room right at the entrance not really inside the building which meant people walking by on the steps all the time so you couldnt sleep with windows open, which isn´t great for a room on the Costa Brava. View to the stairs, no nature mountain or any other nice views we were told from any of the lower categories. Wasn´t clear when booking. Therefore AC needed for airflow. Asked for a kettle, no tea bags came with it. We had to ask for tea bags at the restaurant, but they mentioned they are separate to the hotel (?) and had to therefore charge me for a tea if I wanted a bag. Knicked bags off the breakfast buffet therefore....Property, rooms (we had a standard room, pool not quite like the website, had higher expectations I guess. We checked if we could pay for a higher category but was full.

Brilliant location to the beach (12 min walk), great location to the town (20 min walk).The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Very clean rooms and breakfast was delicious, a lot of choice.

Very peaceful and relaxing environment. The staff was great and very nice! They invited us for a bottle of Cava as it was my husband birthday which as a very nice detail. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed a delicious grilled fish from the BBQ for diner. Im sure we will go back because we enjoyed our stay so much!
