Best Western Bradford Inn

Pros +

• Breakfast was minimal but not as important to me room was clean and bed was comfortable sufficient internet to work
• It was conveniently located.
• Smoking room Believe me I needed it after staying there!

Cons -

• Well, everything started out when we arrived after having two confirmed rooms for over a month, and then being told that only one room was a king and the other one was two queens. The front desk staff could not have cared less that this was not what we had confirmed. She told us to take it or leave it. We also told her fine but the queen room would be the 3 day reservation and the one king room would be for the entire week and she proceeded to tell me that the king was only for 3 days and the manager would have to make a decision. No surprise, but the manager never called because I’m sure she never told them. On the third day, we went to the front desk to check my employee out of the queen room make sure that they knew that the king room was staying for the duration of the week and she was very friendly. However, Thursday mid morning I got a call asking me why my belongings were still in the room because they had me checking out that day, which was absolutely not correct. I proceeded to tell the lady that we were there till Friday and she said it wasn’t what the booking says, which was wrong of course since I had the booking confirmation in front of me. Aside from all that, both the rooms I booked were supposed to be non-smoking rooms and both smelled like cigarette smoke. The carpets were absolutely filthy and have never been cleaned. Thankfully, we brought our own bedding and cleaning supplies. On a positive note, the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I would recommend driving the hour to Statesboro for a decent hotel. I will for sure.
• The tv froze up constantly!!! The fridge was so loud we had to unplug it to sleep! There were nails, sharp end up all across the floor in entrance to the bathroom!!! The toilet moved with little effort as if it was going to turn over!!! The faucet was moving in all directions as if it was going to disconnect!!! 9am with a do not disturb sign on the outside of the door, a female quickly knocked twice and opened the door before I could speak or move!!! I was half naked!!!
