Convenient but not fun timing of road work being done
Price was what was advertised. Friendly, helpful staff. However, I reserved a queen bed but was put in a room with 2 double beds instead. Also, pretty funny that they have the mini fridge & microwave propped up on a stool in the en suite of the bathroom.
Ironically, it was on a street that was having night time road repaving done. No warning at all that this would be happening so I was very unpleasantly surprised that the street was blocked off when I returned from a show. Feel price could have been reduced for the inconvenience. I had to go around a back street & then maneuver my car through the large trucks to get into the parking lot. Not very thoughtful of tourists considering there were 3 motels all on this same street. Plus, trying to sleep with loud beeping from the trucks & construction. I had to turn on the heater/air to drown out the noise.

Cheap room if you can tolerate the smell of cleaning chemicals.
The room was basically clean. Price was the only reason I stayed here, but it was still overpriced considering the age of the furnishings and spartan amenities.
Very overwhelming smell of cleaning chemicals, especially when I turned on the heater. The pillows where very flimsy. I almost checked out after the first night because of the smell until I figured out it was less noxious if I left the heater off.
