The staff was really kind and helpful and the kitchen and the ambiance of the restaurant was amazing.

Quiet location, clean and well designed room, comfy bed. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.

Breakfast too expensive so we didn't have it.

The room and washroom was spacious. A bit noisy in AM because of bus stop

This was a second time staying here on our drive through, and the room again was just as expected, really lovely, no issues. We had no noise at all from other guests, we did stay on a Tuesday so that could have been a quiet day. Lovely space and very relaxing. Had a lovely meal at the restaurant, with lovely staff who was very accommodating to my somewhat broken German. They spoke good english with my partner though so clearly not an issue. Really relaxing atmosphere, no screaming kids or loud people at the dinner which was heavenly. Some very nice walks literally right outside the hotel, so great for traveling with dogs.

Not a fan of the pillows but that's so individual it's hard to please everyone. We had our own with us so it wasn't an issue. It wouldn't hurt to have some AC installed as both times I've stayed here the rooms remained quite warm throughout the night, and there's no way to cool them down besides sleeping with open windows which is impossible with a dog in a new environment.

Nice staff, beautiful rooms with supershower, nice big rom with garden and fridge, VERY good breakfast!

Just a detail, in summertime the rooms should be a bit more aired

Staff was really friendly and accommodating. The spa space was absolutely gorgeous. Loved the sauna! Restaurant has also great menu and quality local ingredients.

The only thing we found disappointing was that there is no privacy in the room as they are all looking out where the entrance is located. So as long as the curtains are open, anyone can see you from outside, otherwise you don’t have any natural light. Despite that, we really liked it - as we were accomodated to the end of the corridor where the likehood of someone walking by was limited.

Great restaurant , wonderful staff , clean rooms. Perfect also for our dog. All in all a comfortable stay and highly recommend.

Some design failings in the bedroom - just one sliding door to close either the bathroom or wardrobe, but not both. Rather expensive for the size of room and location.

Very nice with a very good restaurant. The restaurant is very popular with the local residents and was quite busy.Breakfast is more continental than British, as one would expect.It was winter and the room heating was very good.

It came up to my expectations and I have no criticismsIf you’re using TomTom use coordinates as opposed to post code.The sat nave took me to the wrong end of the road. About 4 kilometres from the hotel.

Love being able to have a sauna after a long day's drive. The staff were super - friendly and attentive. Not far from the motorway for my overnight stay on route. Quiet. Good restaurant with a fair number of vegetarian options.

I couldn't get the bedside light to work in my room. I only stayed one night so there wasn't time to get it seen to/fix it. The other lights in the room were very bright, it would have been nice to be able to have low light. This is pretty minor and won't stop me going back.

Really nice staff. Beautiful room, and the rest of the hotel was lovely too. Excellent dinner and breakfast.

The room became quite stuffy during the night; opening the window was not a good option because there would be quite bad traffic noise.

The staff were super friendly, and the location is really nice. We stayed with our dog and there was footpaths to a bit of woodland right outside the door of the hotel entrance. Room was a nice size and offered everything necessary.

Sadly we have a pretty bad nights sleep due to the room temperature and the softness of the beds/ and big pillow combos. Even though it wasn’t super hot (19degrees Celsius during daytime) the room felt really warm and there was no aircon to regulate the temperature. Only a window leading out to a shared courtyard, which we could leave open due to staying with our dog who naturally guards.

Garden Room was clean and modern, bed was comfortable.

Only coffee machine in room nothing for tea drinkers.

Parking was easy and really close to reception Great food selection in restaurant, really tasty too!Room was very comfortable.

everything - the location, ideal for short walks in the country after a long drive. The building and rooms were in exceptional condition and the food very very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel.
