Groenendaal train station is located directly opposite the hotel, providing optimal accessibility for travelers in transit or on business trips. This strategic location allows guests to take full advantage of their time between two flights or two business meetings, or even to enjoy a stay combining culture and nature. On site, our guests can also enjoy the El Socarate Restaurant for a quality culinary experience. In the immediate vicinity is also the Beauty GastroPub, offering a warm atmosphere. - The check in procedure and staffing. The instructions are not clear. We arrived during staffed hours and no one was there. Called the emergency number - which was also reportedly staffed - but no one answered. We were left outside for 45 minutes before finally walking down the strange side alley to find the keys. No apology from the hotel about the poor instructions or unstaffed emergency line.
- We had booked a romantic night away from the kids at this supposedly "high-end" hotel hoping for warmth, comfort, and relaxation. The result? A perfect immersion into the atmosphere of an alpine freezer. The room was freezing, with no proper heating whatsoever, and no solution offered. Apparently, we should have brought our own fireplace. After a few hours playing human ice cubes under the covers, we gave up: we left at 2 AM, completely frozen. Romantic? Perhaps... if you're a penguin. For this price, I expected a magical night. Instead, I got a survival training session. Avoid if youre fond of your toes.
