Pros +

• Location of the hotel and pool area, staff members are helpful. Reception area is updated.
• An overall good experience at Xemxija Bay Hotel. - Great location at St. Paul near the sea side and public transportation. - Fast check-in and check-out. -Friendly staff. -Good value considering the location and average pricing in the area. - Room was clean, comfortable bed and big balcony. Our room had a kitchenette that included plates, electric kettle and utensils which was great for preparing and having simple meals. - Staff organizing the breakfast, and those on reception were always very welcoming and friendly for any inquiry or communication. - Bar and espresso machine at reception open 24 hours. Had a couple of shots while chatting with Riyad who works on reception. - The hotel's pool was a nice experience. It's directly facing the hotel entrance. Great if you have kids that are spending the day in the pool and you can watch them from your balcony.

Cons -

• Room was not the same as advertised. It is extremely outdated inside and in really bad need for external cleaning/ painting. Got fresh good towels on arrival, after that extremely old towels. Cleaning is not great. My bed was not changed once in 10 days floors were moped, but never behind the doors, so dust was flying, and towels were changed, bed was made, not changed though. Breakfast was ok, but the number of times had to ask for cups or cutlery or glasses or butter
• - Breakfast was basic but ok ( English breakfast, bread, mini cerroisant, jam, fruits as apple and bannana) and repeated with same menu each day. -absence of some complimentary elements like tea or coffee bags. -No room service. -Elevetor is small fit hardly four people. In our case, it was ok but if the hotel was full, it can be an issue if your staying in higher floors.
