The hotel is lodged in five characteristic North Holland houses with a beautiful garden in the middle on the water's edge. The restaurant offers a good international kitchen. Many famous sights are just a short distance from Edam. There is easy access to public transportation going to Amsterdam and other places of interest.

- This little place is so incredibly quaint. The village of Edam is not overrun with tourists. The streets were deserted at night with the occasional group of kids riding bikes. I can’t say enough positive things. Food great. Very well kept town. 10/10
