Best Western Plus Augusta North Inn & Suites

The location was good. Overall experience was ok.

I attempted to check in a bit earlier and without the staff checking, they just kept telling me no. You have to wait. Customer service wasn¿t too good. The room looked like it was slept in already so I had to change rooms.

Room was nice, bed was comfortable, and had a nice kitchenette.

When it came time to shower, we were missing our shower curtain. The front desk staff reacted well and didn't waste time getting us one.

We stayed for 13 nights. We were greeted with a very warm welcoming by Jasmine at the front desk. She is the absolute best! I would recommend her to be a manager. She deserves a promotion! The beds were pretty comfy and the bedding was clean. As far as breakfast it was good, just wished there were a toaster with bagel/bread selections. The eggs, bacon/sausage was tasty. There was an older lady( sorry I didn't get her name)who greeted us every morning, she was such a delight. Our room was pretty clean. I usually go over with my own cleaning products and surprisingly the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The entrance of the facility is always clean and smells good. The gym was a good space. I didn't utilize the pool but it seemed as though guests were having fun. Would I stay again? Probably so...hopefully Jasmine will be the manager by then, she goes the extra mile. Great staff means a lot!

The carpets need to be dry shampooed between each guests or removed all together; hardwood or durable flooring would be nice. There was no telephone in the room. I had to use my cell phone which I didn't mind but for safety measures a phone was needed. There is only one big cart to be shared for the entire hotel! An elderly guest had to make 3 trips and then it was my turn, what a disgrace! Please order more carts. Regarding housekeeping request, I was informed initially that service was every other day and I agreed. I requested at the front desk for full service after a week during my stay(stayed 13 nights). The rep on days said that she would inform housekeeping. Imani, the housekeeper supervisor assistant came to our room and was quite perturbed. She also insinuated that I hadn't informed the front desk that I wanted full service...but I in fact did. I had to call downstairs and speak with the front desk rep which made me feel uncomfortable. Imani returned and apologized for her actions but her facial expression said otherwise. After she was finished I did tip her and that is when I received a smile. That is just me, I always tip when staff do something for me, just to show appreciation.

This was a great hotel and pretty budget friendly. It was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly.

The bathrooms were a bit dated.

The bathroom sink was covered in facial hair. I don’t mean remnants after housekeeping had washed it, I mean the sink had not been cleaned at all. The mattress pad did not appear to be clean since it had stuck on debris that would have come off in the wash. The walls are so thin I could hear the neighbor’s conversations that were normal sound level. Like, they weren’t loud, they were just talking and I could almost hear exactly what they were saying. The noise from the interstate is loud at night. *I have mild insomnia and if I had been asleep, the noise would probably not have bothered me. *Also, I didn’t alert staff to the dirty sink because I had been on the road for 12 hours and just didn’t want to deal with it and the front desk attendant seemed overwhelmed when I checked in.
