Oasis Hotel Waikiki

I absolutely love this Hotel;,it’s my second time staying here and no disappointments. The room is twice the size of other hotel properties. The decor, Roman tub, bidet are great amenities. You are right in the heart of the Waikiki shopping and beach district, just a few short blocks from Waikiki Beach and Kalākaua Avenue. The staff are helpful and quick to respond. Nothing is too crowded. I love the full kitchen room. I have visited the area 10 times.

Everything was Perfect

The location. Easy to catch bus to and from airport and easy walk to Waikiki Beach and shopping district. Good size room and mattress comfortable.

Very outdated. Extremely poor service. Only interested in making money. Bed sopping wet from AC. Toilet gurgled all night. Room smelt dank when I entered and had to open balcony door. These are all issues housekeeping would have known yet they put me in the room and didn’t fix the issues.

Spacious rooms

If you are traveling for work or need an invoice for your stay, do not stay at the Oasis Hotel. I booked multiple rooms for a business trip, and after our stay, they are unable to produce coherent invoices for our reservations. The invoice is addressed to Booking.com instead of my company or me; some rooms are missing from the invoice, and it does not include the full guest list. They are also very unresponsive and offer no solutions.The rooms are spacious, although somewhat worn out. The lobby is not very comfortable to work/chill in.

The room was clean. Bathroom - modern. Bed comfortable. Views from window. Nice breakfast.

Can’t say what I liked as didn’t actually get to stay in this hotel I booked ! On arrival at 00:30, was advised that problem with air con unit in room meant it want available. They transferred my booking to a sister hotel (note - price comparison shows this was 10% cheaper than hotel that was actually booked, and did not offer equivalent facilities (breakfast not included))

The hotel / booking.com could have advised *MUCH* earlier that there was a problem with the room, and offered an alternative hotel of *AT LEAST* the same quality / pricing as the one that was booked, rather than simply a nearby sister hotel that had a room available

Good location. Good size room.. Comfortable bed. Close to all amenities, lots of eateries and shopping near the Hotel. Easy walk to beach. Public transport at the end of the street to catch a bus to the Pier for boating activities and the Ala Moana Mall.

Although we had a kitchenette in our room with cutlery and plates, there was no tea towel or dishwashing liquid for us to do any dishes. Be good to have another easy chair in our room and instead of one sun lounger on our deck two easy chairs would've been better (like other rooms).

The location is excellent. Short walk to shopping, restaurants and Waikiki Beach.

Some street noise. No umbrellas or shade so couldn’t sit by the pool for any length of time.

The location was perfect as you are close to high end stores and restaurants. The beach is about a 10 or less minute walk but doable. Room was clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is an older hotel so furniture, bathroom, kitchenette are not spa like as hotels tend to be today. Very clean and comfortable though. The pool is very small. The laundry they have is outside under an awning. I was sent an email that for $24 I could get early check in. I took that offer as I was coming in at 9am from Australia. When we got to the hotel I was told they were fully booked and could not honor the request but I'm still charged with the $24 as it was through a link ,that they sent me, and could not be removed. We asked to use the laundry as we wait till we could get in the room. While waiting for the wash to be done I walked around and noticed how very small the pool is and how the pictures of the hotel didn't show the real place.( Artistic framing used).When the laundry was done we went back to the front desk to check our bags so we could get something to eat. The clerk,who was different then when I checked in, stated that he had a suite he could give me now for $30 a day Xtra. So I paid it and got a room with a balcony facing the street. Do I think it was worth the Xtra $30? To get in a room ASAP, yes. I don't think the room itself was too much of an upgrade. It might of been a little bigger and had a balcony, but what is outside of the hotel is why I'm here. The street the hotel is on is a busy street after 8pm and gets real wild after midnight. The bars across the street are packed and crazy till 4am. So awaken a couple of times do to the noise.So, after staying our 2 days (a stop over for our journey home) would I stay here again?If it was a full vacation of a week or 2, no. But if you have a couple of days and need a place that is clean, friendly, priced well, close to stores, restaurants and the beach .. this is your place.
