Maui Seaside Hotel

Updated older hotel and close to the airport

The room is small for the price paid.

Newly refreshed design of room.

Mattress was not comfortable. The digital display on the split AC was an inch or more square & extremely bright. It illuminated the entire room all night and was too high on the wall (ceiling level) to block out. Hotel could consider to provide eye masks.

The staff was first class, who worked at the front desk. She was amazing, customer centric and a problem solver. Her peers can learn from her. Lots of aloha.

Where do I begin? 1. The $50/day for parking and resort fee was ridiculous. I was busy at work saving lives and exhausted every night. No time for pool, games or even to eat. 2. The room was worn down and needs to be updated. 3. The hot water was not

Nice entrance

Took forever for the shuttle and the room wasn't in main area. Probably one of the worst hotels I stayed at. Room was so basic. View of parking lot. For the price I payed, not worth it. Book elsewhere

Very nice grounds and staff.

Our room was absolutely disgusting, stunk like mold and was just horrendous. I was shocked to say the least at the condition of the room.

Location for one Nighter

The parking fee. It was a bit high for location and hotel lower grade hotel.

It is quaint older hotel that is right on the harbor in Kahului. It is one of the few remaining of this type. Plus, it gives some of us a break from the giant hotel corporations taking over the industry and charging over the top fees.

But alas all things come to an end. This property was acquired by Hilton and will undergo a renovation of some sort and likely join it's new Hampton Inn neighbor and sibling under the mighty Hilton banner. Not all of us want the expensive luxury

Staff were nice.

I don’t like how they charge you amenity fees and you don’t even use the amenities. Then my room wasn’t even clean. Still had things from the previous guest. So gross

Location was the best part as it was close to where I had business.

The one thing is that upon check out I was handed an invoice for $39 in addition to what I had already paid. The added cost was for parking and tourist taxes. I didn't see any reference to this added charge on the hotel website .

The friendly staff, the ambience when you walk through the lobby, looking out at the pool and the beautiful ocean

Clean and organized. Feng shui was off the charts. Pool, location just dynamite

The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The house keeping ladies always greeting and saying hello. The rooms are perfect, especially the pricing compared to other hotels nearby.

Theres only three washers/three dryers and one washer and dryer was down. Besides that, it should be 24 hours accessable. Especially for familes where you wash clothes after your kids fall asleep. The hotel would be perfect if the hours changed!

Kinda dumpy outside and I didn't like the hidden resort fee when I booked.

The updated Room was one of the best I have ever stayed in. The staff are extremely helpful.

I would rather have an ironing board and Iron over the steamer provided.

The staff team were very understanding and accommodating. The pool was clean and had a few lawn games for traveling families. Atmosphere definitely was a vibe, very vacationing and family-oriented. Parking was great security, parking attendant was helpful

Not at all all the amenities, laundry room, vending/diner in the hotel overall along with the pool was beautiful. The cleanliness of hotel, lobby, parking area, and room over exceeded my expectations.

Clean and renovated; great stay for arrivals and departures from OGG!
