Waikiki Resort Hotel

The location of the property is ideal in Waikiki. Walking distance to the beach, to restaurants, ABC stores, and downtown for retail shopping. Also, the breakfast included with the stay very good with an array of selection of fruits, oatmeal, pastries and main dishes of egg, rice, potatoes and sausage.

Everything of the property was great.

Wifi didn’t work at night. Called the front desk and the guy said he can’t do anything as he’s alone there.The hotel feels old but outdated. loud at night I had to put a noise cancellation headphones to sleep.

Staff was great. Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was nice. Pool was good. Location was great.

Beds were small (double at best). My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds to be at all comfortable. Wallpaper was peeling in spots. Rooms definitely need a refresh. Game room needs some attention (not many game options, darts were broken, so kids couldn't play darts.

The location is great and its cost benefits.

They told us they would be able to guarantee a king size bed, as it was our honeymoon, but when we arrived they said the hotel was full and they could only provide a double bed room.

On the positive side, the location is excellent – close to the beach, shops, street food and a public parking lot. The staff was very polite and helpful overall. The room was quite spacious, although the furnishings and overall standard felt outdated.We also noticed a CD movie rental machine in the lobby, which was amusing – it felt like a blast from the past, as this was popular many years ago.

The breakfast restaurant on the second floor was very disappointing.We were surprised to find that it consisted of two rooms without any windows. A breakfast area should offer a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere – unfortunately, this was not the case.Although the staff tries to be polite, they seemed tense, which created a stressful atmosphere and a sense of rush during breakfast.What’s more, waste containers and trays with dirty dishes were clearly visible – this is simply below the standard one would expect from a 3-star hotel.The breakfast itself was also below expectations, with a very limited selection of food.

Location was great. About a block away from the beach and McDonalds. Parking was available (although you need to pay extra per night). There is a mini-mart and a car rental place in the lobby. The included breakfast was better than expected. Beds/pillow were very comfortable. No issues when requested extra pillow/linens. Dbl room was a decent size. There are several water-filling stations for free.

Shower is a little small. Balcony door did not lock. Fridge is really mini. I didn't see a hairdryer.

Great location, just one block from Waikiki. Close to lots of restaurants. The rooms are very clean, although a bit worn up on the 12th floor (wallpaper splitting, etc.). Still, a very nice stay in general. And the breakfast is a great way to start the day.

The mattresses are quite soft! That made for a sore back in the morning. I would urge you to upgrade on the mattresses.
