Location

Everything except the location. The bed and pillows was especially horrible. The curtains kept no light out at night. All lights on buildings made it glow 24 hours a day. Shower didn't drain properly. Only 2 outlets in the kitchenette and 2 in bathroom.

The location was nice

When I checked in at the front desk I was told I needed to go to another room to check-in. It felt pretty shady. Then when I checked in I was told I had to pay an additional $53 for the cleaning fee which had not been disclosed when booking the room.

Location and Roxy the manager, if you stay in one of the rooms managed by Castle Resorts.

Very old and dated, but the price is commensurate with the condition so there is still value to be had.

Room wasn?t clean; shower didn?t drain -very unsanitary; bathroom counter not wiped; dust bunnies with hair (gross); one bedside drawer was broken; electrical cords potential fire hazard; thin white curtains let so much light in, difficult to sleep.

Room was not as advertised. Suspossed to be 2 separate rooms with a queen bed and a twin bed.

the check in is in an upstairs storage room, but the staff was very friendly and helpful

Location. Close to stores, restaurants, zoo, and pick-up locations for tours.

Some rooms are SUPER-HORRIBLE, SUPER OUT-DATED, SUPER DIRTY, and SUPER-DARK (insufficient lighting). YUCKY!!! These horrible rooms should be blocked for reservations if you care about travelers. If these yucky rooms are blocked, then I would recommend.

Walking distance to food

I was charged a $150 cleaning fee that wasn't apparent in the booking, THEN THEY ASKED ME TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH! $150 to clean a tiny studio and I have to take out my own trash? Insane.

How calm it was. The staff were very personable.

The little air conditioner could not keep up. The toilet whistled in the middle of the night. Our room was directly above three large Ventilation fans. It was too loud to leave our windows open. Once we bought personal fans the room was great!

It was close to the beach

It seemed run down. Some of the lights did not work at all. Poor lighting. No central air

Our bed was bad so they moved us to another room where it was better for us. Great staff.

Had to pay for coffee in the rooms each morning/ room cleaning fee was quoted $105 and charged $125+tax.

The room we had, room 904 was lacking in overall updates and needed some repairs. Bathroom vanity was pulled away from wall, faucets were loose, tile/grout in bathroom looked like it had t been cleaned or re-done in years. Bed was shaky and too firm.

How close it was to the beach.

The room was much smaller then advertised, no room service for our whole trip we had to go to the front desk to get new towels, it said the room was city view which was a lie the view was the back alley with a horriable view.

Service was terrible. TV didn't work. No phone. If you need anything you need to go get it yourself. No full length mirror. No dresser nor class set. When I asked for additional wash clothes, I was told no. Never again will I take a chance like this.

I was given a different room than booked. It was a tbird tbe size and no balcony

The location was excellent.

Yes. The room was tiny. Hardly room to walk. The hotel was dirty and smelled like marijuana on several floors. When I inquired, management told me yes that was marijuana and they were totally fine with it. The comforter was stained.
