Pros +
- Lovely Inn in beautiful Simsbury Town Center. Enjoyed the character of the property. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine in the evening was a nice touch. Even though breakfast was more “ European” style it was plentiful and I enjoyed the homemade breads/cakes.
- Walked into the hotel and was greeted by live music in the bar area (amazing) and super friendly staff. Room was very spacious and walkable to restaurants around. Would stay here again!

Cons -
- For the price I feel there were certain things lacking, I had two very large suitcases and the lady at reception and I had had to carry them up three flight of stairs. I know it’s an old house and didn’t expect an elevator, but for the price there should have been someone who took my bags while checking in. Same with check out. She was very busy and I had to carry them both down by myself in heels. The room was spacious but the condition of furniture and room was in need of a refresh. It would also have been nice to have daily maid service. Lastly, you were having new air conditioning installed and parking lot was taped off so guests had to park away from the Inn which was not ideal as I would arrive in the evening and it was dark. The next morning we had to detour through the library. I know this was a temporary situation but it took away all the “feels” of your property and your beautiful long driveway.

A lovely hotel and super kind staff. Very cozy and homey.
