Pros +
- Movie night at the pool
- Excellent staff- professional, courteous, and helpful! Beautiful updated lounge bar and welcome drinks were a plus. Room was secluded and newly renovated.
- Cleanliness of the room and size of the room were exceptional. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The bathroom was spacious and the tub was very large and deep enough for a fantastic soak. The bed was very comfortable; I slept well.
Cons -
- Room service/pool services could have been better
- Catalina pool was is terrible condition with a heavy layer of dead bugs and debris and the hot tub was literally releasing noxious fumes- Within seconds of entering, I could not stop coughing due to the burning in my lungs and my skin developed a rash.
- The hotel is undergoing renovations during the weekday. If you want to sleep in after a late night it can be quite noisy beginning around 8:30 am. Not all restaurants were open during my stay. Walk to the room from the check-in area was quite a distance.
