MGM Grand

Big updated rooms, massive pool and nice bars/restaurants.

Assigned a lower graded room due to a shortage of rooms although it was already secured with credit card weeks prior. Wasn’t told this during key collection at the desk and spent a long time walking corridors after a 9 hour flight to correct this. Had to push desk staff for compensation and to be re assigned to the correct room the following day which we had already paid more for. Great hotel spoilt by staff.

The casino could be much classier, there does not seem to be a theme, long lines at check in, Outrageously expensive food and drinks-from water, snacks to fast food -BE prepared.

Located basically on the strip. We chose it because we had tickets for the Cirque du Soleil in the same hotel and it was just the most convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. And you need them because the hotel is absolutely huge and you often need directions to find things.

Even though this was Nevada, we felt cold in the room. They really overdo the A/C and there were no extra blankets or duvet. I didn't think I'd ever be cold in Las Vegas. Turning up the temp on the thermostat just made it worse because it increased the fan speed but obviously not the heating. We had to put extra clothes on overnight but after that it was a very comfortable sleep. There must be close to a thousand rooms on this floor alone but they are superbly soundproofed and we didn't hear anything.

Water was leaking on the shower door small spaces. Even if you put the bath towel by the shower door, water was leaking out leading to a soaking bath floor mat NOT WET but SOAKING WET.

Nice hotel with lots of food and entertainment options.

Bathroom sink drained slow and floor wasn't clean (hair and an old Q-Tip on the bathroom floor).

Too large to walk. Very expensive prices inside (12$ for a pizza slice & 8$ for a water bottle

horrible check in process, online check in didn’t work even when the staff helped, long wait to check in at the counter, check in staff not friendly or welcoming, lobby is loud and overwhelming, difficult to figure out the room layout, more staff welcoming and directing traffic would have been very helpful

Quiet , room was comfortable. Pillows were bad .

The carpet in the hallways was filthy, room doorways beat up and in need of paint . Elevator down button not working on 12 th floor. The prices on Food , drinks and everything was so ridiculous, we felt like we were getting robbed!
