Based in the former cathedral city of Elgin, The Mansefield Hotel is surrounded by rolling hills and vibrant glens. With free parking on-site and free Wi-Fi access to all guests, the hotel also has a newly refurbished restaurant and a bar. The rooms at The Mansefield Hotel each include an private bathroom with complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, a seating area and a work desk. They also benefit from a fridge and bathrobes. Decorated with a collection of oil paintings, the elegant restaurant offers an extensive dinner menu that specializes in local seafood and fresh game. Also on-site, The Mezzo Bar & Eaterie offers guests a selection of specially imported wines and beers. Snacks are also available. From the hotel, Glen Moray Distillery is less than a mile away. Elgin Cathedral historic ruins are a 15-minute walk away and Elgin Golf Club is a 6-minute journey in the car.

- Room and bathroom were tiny but cosy and comfortable.Staff generally polite especially night porter.Very clean hotel.
- Clean, great staff, big room, great location, incredible whiskey selection, nice restaurant with good food.
- The hotel's location near Gordonstoun was ideal for me as an International Parent. It provided the perfect convenience to attend school events effortlessly, allowing me to pop in and out as needed.
Cons -
- No swimming pool.
- Nothing
- The taxi service recommended by the hotel was disappointing during my last trip with them after patronising them 4X times during my stay. The Father driver (MS Taxi) opted for a longer route to the airport, resulting in a much higher fare than what I paid upon arrival. This experience left me questioning their transparency.
