Sky Hotel Tirana

Comfortable bed, quiet, amazing view.

Coffee and tea were not automatically available at breakfast—you always had to ask for them. The breakfast staff did not ask us if we wanted or needed anything. They just checked our room number. There were 1-3 waitresses on duty, either watching the phone or looking bored; they clearly did not enjoy their work.

Rotating Restaurant at top has wonderful views of the Tirana. Location is within walking distance to plaza, old town, bazaar, restaurants, etc

Staff friendly and helpful

The breakfast could be much better for a 4star hotel. The Caesar salad for lunch was poor, as was another dish,di decided against eating in the restaurant. No plug socket by dressing table, the lights were very dim.

The location was perfect. Breakfast in the morning had a beautiful view. The staff was very welcoming, they upgraded me to a suite when they heard about some challenges I had with a previous hotel.

The hotel is a bit dated. Not all light fixtures worked, power went out when I was in the shower.

Great location, excellent view from restaurant (where breakfast is served), friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, large room and bathroom. Several bath amenities included.

Cheaper options available nearby, shared elevator.

Great location and views. Room was modern and well equipped. Very comfortable. The receptionist was very very helpful.

We were on the 16th floor in a very nice room, but the music from the bar on the 18th floor was loud and kept me awake until almost 2 am. That was the only really negative thing that happened.

Modern, clean, and pretty central location. Stayed for one night, as a transition, it was a 22€ taxi from the airport and a 10€ to the bus station the next day. Room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Would stay again.

The staff were not very friendly, nor very helpful. They tried to over charge for a taxi by having us use the hotel driver (there is a meter taxi stand outside and the rates are better) and they claim to take AMEX but they really don’t only Visa and Mastercard.

Central, clean, nice view and lots of light, international standard. Nice to have the rooftop bar for breakfast and the observation deck for sunset drinks right at the hotel.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The hotel is located just steps from the center of Tirana, providing everything you need. The room is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of Albanian and international dishes, and the staff were extremely warm, kind, and helpful. Special thanks to the reception and restaurant team for their hospitality; they were always ready to help and ensure everything was perfect throughout my stay.

Eye infection from unclean room.

Got an eye infection the first night I slept there from their unclean pillows. Then when I requested to check out early due to the eye infection and general uncleanliness, they tried to claim it's unrelated to the stay, and tried to refuse the check out, so that I pay for another night. They suggested I go to the hospital and return again to sleep in the same room, until eventually agreeing to the early check-out. They did not refund the night of the infection, though they did return the money I had prepaid for the 2nd night I had reserved which I cancelled.The hotel lobby was also under construction and very dirty. The rooms were barren and way too expensive for what they were. There were lipstick stains on random parts of the room as well.

Felt more like a very good 3*, well maintained and staff work hard to keep it clean.

To gain entry to the hotel, it’s not clearly signposted, especially if arrive at unsociable hours!
