Kangaroo island inn has a great view of the beach, the room was comfortable and clean and township is just a walk away

Beautiful view of the beach nearby. Staff was excellent. Kingscote is a good base to explore KI. Free parking for my rental car.

Needs a few upgrades. It's not a bad place but appropriate for fiscally responsibile folks or those with kids. Less for a romantic getaway.

Location was great, staff was friendly.

Mattresses were old and not supportive at all. We contemplated setting up our camping mattress instead.The bathroom smelled like 'old man' (a mix of BO, aftershave and cigars)The rooms were outdated and could use a refresh to bring them out of the 1980s.

Bed was comfortable, shower was strong and hot, room was quiet, View was great

Bathroom was very, outdated and the shower curtain kept falling off the hooks. Mould in the bathroom sink and soap scum in the shower. Exhaust fan in bathroom was very noisy.

Neat and tidy friendly welcome.

No breakfast available and maybe a microwave in room might have helped if you didn’t feel like eating out . Also a lamp would have been handy.

Easy check in; room was big enough for four adults; bathroom an excellent size and the location and view are brilliant.

Insufficient shampoo/conditioner/shower gel for four adults (only 1 of each in the bathroom) and the two single beds were too firm for comfortable sleeping.

Spacious room, modern spacious bathroom, sea view and a very pleasant seaside walk into the centre of Kingscote to eat. We were not expecting this location to be so good.

Could do with a few more power outlets

The location was perfect. The motel had a ramp which was great as I have problems with stairs.

My bed sqeeked everytime I turned.The motel is a bit outdated & needs some TLC to modernise it. Thank goodness for the view & the balcony.

Location was great with.a view over the ocean.The receptionist was very friendly.and informative.Good Suze room.with.all essentials provided.

The location was fantastic with a gorgeous view.

I was disappointed that there wasn’t any meal options available and I found the ground floor room we could hear everything upstairs. I think an upstairs room would have been better.

Location quite and a 10 minute walk to Kingscote. Dated room, but had everything we needed.

No servicing of our room the next day. Needed more coffee and saw no one.

The room was good in size with a great view. The beds were comfortable with a great ocean breeze which in the evenings kept the room fresh and cool.

I didn't like the car park area. It was dirty/messy, no defined parking bays and fairly secure with video cameras. Would have been nice to have a microwave oven to warm up food for my young children.

It was well located, well priced and the room itself was of great proportions. It looked reasonably comfortable and clean.

The room upon entering seemed clean enough but the 'Leather' lounge chairs were cracked and peeling with age. The carpet had ripples in it around the bed ( the reason for that would become evident later). The bed (although comfortable enough) was very noisy to sleep in. It creaked and groaned on every move. Investigating the cause, the ensemble bottom itself didn't look in particularly great condition. The centre placed castor legs on the bed were badly bent and not supporting the ensemble bottom. It apparently is the ongoing issue that was causing the ripples in the carpet. The next morning I put my gear in my car and went for a walk to get breakfast, leaving my car outside the room. My intention being to come back to have a coffee on the balcony, while planning my day before checking out at 10 am. I arrived back at 9.30 am to find the cleaner in my room with the bed already stripped and the room in the the progress of being remade for the next guest. I hadn't checked out at this stage. Finding this a bit disconcerting,I dropped off my key and left.

Plenty of room and great view.

Bathroom not as clean as it could have been. Had to jam screen door with paper to keep it shut.
