Review summary
The hotel reviews reflect a mix of positive and negative experiences, with many guests praising the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, as well as the variety of amenities and good restaurant options available on-site. While the location is frequently described as excellent, providing easy access to attractions, there are concerns regarding housekeeping consistency and the high costs associated with parking and resort fees. Overall, despite some drawbacks, many guests found the hotel comfortable and suggested it as a decent choice, particularly for its amenities and friendly staff.

Great location with easy access to nearby attractions. The heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi were excellent features and added a nice touch to the stay.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms was not up to 5‑star standards. Our body wash was empty on arrival, and despite contacting staff multiple times, it was never refilled. The chatbot and live chat were also disappointing—you often had to say “hello” repeatedly just to get a response, and the interaction felt as though the agent saw you as an inconvenience rather than a guest. The outdoor pool had no lifeguard, which is surprising and concerning for a property claiming to be 5‑star. The changing facilities were also in very poor condition. Check‑in felt more like going through an airport than arriving at a luxury hotel—cold, robotic, and impersonal. For context, I recently stayed at a 5‑star property in Macau, one of the world’s largest casino destinations, and the difference in service and quality was enormous. If Mandalay Bay is considered 5‑star, that Macau property should easily be rated 10‑star.

Very close to Allegiant Stadium. Lots of nice restaurant choices. The spa was great - best massage I’ve ever had!
Check in was very slow. Elevators were very crowded.

Overall the hotel was fine, the room was spacious and clean and there were plenty of restaurants in the hotel
Due to its size the hotel felt very "impersonal" and it is located at the very end of the strip which makes it essential to take a train/mono-rail/uber wherever you would like to go. Also - when there is a voucher is included in your stay - make sure to ask the staff for the restaurants included to avoid any surprises with certain restaurants not included (as was the case for us)

The room was fine and that’s about it. Charging 50.00 Per day for taking something from mini bar to cool a bottle of water or keep milk for baby, and then return item to mini bar stupid. Doesn’t really cost the hotel anything and is a bad look for no reason.
The pool being closed the entire 4 days. Not much of a resort without pool. And because of this, the lazy river was packed to overload. And to get food or drink by pool had to stand in line and order like I was at McDonald’s. Didn’t feel very resort-like to me.The restaurants were terrible. Start with the best which wasn’t great but just not nasty like other restaurants- that was sea breeze for breakfast but still not more that 6 out of 10. Wait staff at sea breeze good. Pool food was barely warm and not very good. Both very average or below. The Border - so bad! The nachos were just mush there was so much what looked like enchiladas sauce. Nasty and icky. The fish tacos - the “fish sticks” were overdone and hard. Give this restaurant a D for food but the wait staff was good. The noodle - OMG. Talk about gross! Ordered three appetizers. All were really bad, greasy, cold, weird. I eat at Asian restaurants all the time and expected way more from an expensive restaurant. Wait staff good.ALL the food was outrageously priced for the quality. I really don’t mind the cost of a nice restaurant as having a lovely dinner is important to me. The Mandalay Bay did not, in any way, provide that experience. There were no bars where one could go and listen to music. I don’t understand the thinking that it’s okay to give guest who are there during the week less than weekend guests. Not acceptable. Mandalay Bay should compensate with a 40% refund (and not a voucher).

The location was great for the purpose of our stay. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
One of the elevators wouldn’t read our key and let us select our floor.

Exceptional hotel that was very modern. Great facilities within the hotel too including the swimming pool.
The only downside is that it costs to use the fridge.

Many dining options, nice place to relax and do a bit of gambling. Comfortable beds, big room and nice bathroom. I had a $100 food and drink credit, which helped because the dining options are expensive. If I go again to Las Vegas will book again.
Expensive food and drink.
