Good hotel despite some flaws
The room was very peaceful. That makes me think that the building is soundproof.
The receptionists with whom I made the check in and check out are very kind and helpful, qualities which cannot be ascribable to all the people working at the front desk.
The breakfast was very good. Everything was of a high quality as regards the buffet prepared for that meal. The breakfast room is very well decorated, especially the book shelf located at one end of the room.
The room was rather small, as well as the bathroom. There is a shelf on one side of the bathroom by the WC, where the hairdryer and other objects are placed, Due to the fact that it finds itself at the same height as my shoulders I hit my left one with it many times. It was a bit painful. That shelf should no be there.
One or two of the ladies working at the front desk are rather arrogant.
The staff taking care of the breakfast aren't particularly kind. Specifically, the only male there is rather uneasy and teasing. The same can be said about the room maids in general.
The music to be borne at breakfast time is awful.
I couldn't park the car at the hotel parking. In fact, nothing would have prevented them from reserving a place for me, as they did in favour of other clients.

Freiburg in beautiful
Brilliant position 5 min from train station and old town. Lovely room and nice cocktail bar next door. I recommend to get the Welcome card from the tourist information which includes travel by tram and bus to the cable car.
The room was quite warm and the air con a bit noisy but would stay again.
Watch out for scams by [Link Redacted] which come through on the app asking for card details! This happened on our booking. Luckily our bank was more helpful than [Link Redacted]
