good location, comfy room
Hotel was looking a bit tried
Nothing at all.
The property was run down and tired. The carpets were tatty, the room was outdated and old. The curtains were so thin it might as well not had any. The bathroom was in need of being replaced. The bed was pillows were uncomfortable, and our room was right at the front near the road, which was so noisy neither of us could sleep. Wish we had got up and slept in the car to be honest. One of the breakfast staff didn’t know how to smile. On check out we didn’t get asked if everything was okay. Just terrible all round.
We were there for a concert at Sandringham so it suited us well. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The hotel was well priced for our visit.
The room was average and needed decoratingThe bathroom was ok but the shower was awful.Either too hot or cold when my husband went to have his. So he didn't bother. The fan was welcome but made a rattly noise when on.
The staff were lovely
You had to go up some steps to get into the room which was a bit stuffy and the toilet seat didn’t fit properly.
Excellent food and friendly staff
Bathrooms could do with a good refresh and update.
The room was comfortable and warm. Windows paintwork needs upgrade. Staff friendly and courteous.
The selection of draft beers in the bar was dreadful and.very limited.
Central location but quiet and relaxed, creaky floorboard but clean and well presented. Good free parking, Nice selection of bar food - sensible price and tasty. Happy staff
We always believe it could be cheaper
Food was excellent.
Room a bit dated, bed a little to firm for my licking.
Handy for seeing family
The underhand way breakfast price was elevated . We paid 9.95 for one continental breakfast .£13.95 for a full English breakfast . 3 days on trot . Thursday we went to pay and it had been elevated to 11.95 for continental 15 .95 for full english breakfast. We were not told I think it was disgustingly and highly priced . In future if we stay we will go into the town where it was £9.95 for a full English. We chose not to eat one on the Friday morning too expensive.
It was very dated and overly hot. The food wasn’t great and the breakfast options were very over priced
Exceptionally friendly staff, very helpful too. Booking breakfast before is a good idea (slightly cheaper). Decent enough.
The room was incredibly warm. The radiators were on high during the day and still on (but lower) in the evening. It made it very difficult to stay asleep.
Perfectly located for my destination close by. Staff all friendly and thoughtful. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Will stay here again.
Personally the mattress was too firm for me but my husband liked it. Staff were very accommodating to requests like the heating being turned off in our room. Breakfast ws thenonly meal we had in the hotel but that was lovely and hot.Lovely old building.
Staff very friendly, Rooms clean, bed comfortableLocation and good parking facilitiesBreakfast satisfactory
Excessive noise from a group of guests from around 1.30 - 3.30am so bad I called night porter around 2.30am. Not sure if he dealt with it or not but finally peaceful by 3.30am.Shower had to be set up using hot and cold taps Poor, ie not thermostatic so took a while to get a steady temperature.Rooms could do with refurbishment.
Staff very friendly, there was good parking and the food was great.
The bathroom was a little tight for space and the decor could do with a refresh
The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
A great local hotel, have stayed frequently this year and always enjoy our stay .staff are friendly and accommodating.
