Comfort Inn North of Asheville

Hotel was not like pictures provided. It was dark and dank and had a bad musty smell every where. There was hair and debris on bedding. We had a dirty sock on floor in room when we arrived. Pool was closed entire stay and breakfast shut down early.

The location is very convenient, close to the highway and not far from Asheville. This hotel is part of a chain, but it feels almost independent and family-oriented: very helpful and friendly staff. Nice offerings for breakfast, pet-friendly.

The cleaning staff works very hard and does an excellent job with the day-to-day turnover of rooms. I do think the rooms could use a deep clean from time to time, though.

Hotel employee was the best reception person that ever met! Hotel clean, extremely comfortable beds.

Needs sign at Highway/Main Street for locating entry street in the dark for late travelers.

Very Clean. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room. The batteries on our remote comtrol died and someone came up and gave us a new one in less than 10 minutes from the time we called the front desk. Excellent service.

I asked for two queen beds and ended up with two double beds was the only thing

hotel employee at the front desk was very helpful. We got a late flight into Asheville, which was only a 45 minute drive. We had a 8:30 meeting in Johnson City which was less than an hour.

It was not clean enough and it was noisy. The Breakfast food was unhealthy and cheap. The coffee was so bad I threw it out.

Staff were never present at front desk. I had to stand there for 5 minutes calling hello to finally get some there both to check in and out. Breakfast was a joke. Stale pastries and tiny plastic dixie cups for juice really insufficient and poorly done

Although they were under construction..... Location was far away enough from the highway so quiet. Cozy beds, nice breakfast. I'd stay again!

They are just the nicest people with an exceptionally high end hotel for the value. Perfectly located between Asheville and Johnson City, rooms are large, quiet, clean and stocked with the freshest and latest bedding. No flat pillows here!

I visited this hotel 2yrs before this time and it is still as spotless,great service, wonderful breakfast, polite and friendly staff! Even if there were another hotel in Mars Hill Is come here!

The location nice people clean

Everyone was very nice from the staff to the other guest. Rooms big, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was out of this world. Best Continental Bfast I've ever had. A quick car ride to skiing and conveniences of Asheville.

I hated to leave.
