Lamana Hotel

Staff were very professional, smart, obliging and friendly.

I was disappointed in the room. Handbasin didn't drain and the shower drained very slowly. The aircon was dripping. Not major issues but not up to 5 star standard.

Hopeless front desk

The hotel messed up my confirmed booking and thought I was checking out days before I was due to leave. I went to the front desk to sort this out and was told that it was fixed. I returned that evening to find my room had been packed down and they had opened my safe, put all my dirty clothes and clean clothes into my bag and emptied my fridge. After complaining they promised free laundry so I could have clean clothes for my remaining days of work. On checkout they still tried to charge me for the free laundry.

The room that they gave me was ok but it wasn't what i wanted

I didn't get the room that i original booked. They told me they canceled my reservation and they tried contacting me. That's BS. There was no notice of any cancelation on the app.

Pool is tiny and not suitable for cooling off

Internet access has tremendously improved, and it is very welcome. Staffs are friendly and Lamana is my favorite option for my business trip in POM.

there was construction in the two rooms next door was so noisey and dusty i checked out early and changed hotels

i like the proximity to quality restaurants and the rooms nice and clean , transfers to airport are very good and the vehicles are clean and late model.

It was a cosy place to rest during our Transit

Had one bed when we had two people in the room. I prior booked for a room with two beds. And got a room with one big bed. Cleaners had to bring a mattress in for my son to sleep on the floor. Not good.

Breakfast was good, the staff were very very very friendly, warm and willing to help (except for the lady at the check-in counter).

potentially the young lady at the check-in counter was having a bad day, but she could have been a little more welcoming.

Cleanliness, quietness, loved the room space and the comfort, the price matched my expectation, room located on the ground floor and so was nothing much to see but otherwise good.

Breakfast satisfactory.

Noise of the mouse in the roof and beetle comes out from washing basin. Better you arrange this.

The room was spacious, comfortable bed and good location.

The room we were in had no door to the bathroom and it was quite hard to sleep as the noise from the Gold Club was loud. I had to wait 20 minutes after returning the keys to be checked out.

It was quiet. Spacious. Perfect for a private getaway

Staff at the counter weren’t quite friendly. They spoke to me in a rather dull tiresome tone, but switched up when an expatriate walked into the room. Greeted them kindly. Maybe because I looked very young, I didn’t deserve the same treatment?

I had to wait a day and a half for the TV to be programmed after making one call and two reception Enquiries..

Has everything you need (nice rooms etc and a variety of bars and restaurants) for a safe base without leaving the premises.

Close to airport without being there, close to vision city and transfers service always very good to /from airport. Fantastic restaurants and facilities at hotel

Paid for a premium room with cost similar to Hilton/Stanle/Airways but not quite the value for money with room finishes etc.

The customer service and efficiency in addressing my requests. Plus the treats given whilst staying Executive Room.

Food was pricey for the quantity severed.

Extremely good location for me and airport pickup was very convenient noting the security situation in the country. Almost any facility I need was available. Good restaurants and good entertainment for night life.

Extension of stay required follow-ups but eventually worked out. Thank you!

The location is central and easily to move around in Port Moresby. Security was good and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring that as guests we were taken care of.

Rooms were not ready at check-in time. We had to wait another 90 minutes for our rooms to be ready. The package I got included free wifi however this was not provided during our stay.
