Liked ....A quiet, cul de sac corner in a modern development in a residential area of Earlsfield which is mainly 19th and mid 20th century narrow streets with parking restrictions. A designated parking space available. Well insulated, so it's quiet indoors as well. Unusually a small farm is nearby ( part of a college or school?) and sheep can be heard faintly as well as birdsong! A short walk up Burntwood Lane brings you to an area of shops, bars and excellent restaurants of all types. We recommend Flotsam and Jetsam (Bellevue Road) for a superb last morning breakfast! Inside, the well maintained decor is attractive.

The cleaners did a wonderful job in cleanliness but should have paid closer attention to a number of missing light bulbs, a detached loo seat and badly cracked induction glass hob. To the great credit of the hosts they were most attentive once we alerted them and all these things were put right promptly. We also suggested that the steep flight of stairs from the front door up to the apartment should have had a rail for safety. After our discussions, the hosts have - since our stay - fitted a safety rail and sent photos to demonstrate! Perhaps the steepness of the stairs ( 2 sets) should be mentioned, in case the prospective guests are less than agile.
