The front desk staff was very kind and understanding of how upset everyone was with their room situation. The beach (once we walked out to it) was nice and lots to do nearby.
This was previously one of our favorite hotels, I've stayed multiple times prior. This time there was construction (which we were not notified about), and it literally was underneath, beside and in front of our oceanfront room. We have a view of the construction and a net wall they put up for it. Construction started around 7/7:30 every morning INCLUDING weekends so there was no sleeping in. Multiple family members were there for my mother in laws 80th birthday and there were so many room issues with wrong rooms given out, all stuck in construction zones, etc. Very disappointed with our stay.
