Best Western Plus Northwoods Inn

The staff was friendly and helpful.

The AC stopped working in our room. We called down to the front pretty late at night. They weren't able to fix it during our one night stay but they did discount the room a bit. The beds were a bit too firm for our liking but that's subjective.

It was third time stayed in this hotel. Sea view and quiet hotel.

We were vegetarian and didn’t find more options for breakfast. No banana no bread no hash potatoes etc

The young lady at the front desk was great. She was doing her best under grueling circumstances. It was like something out of a movie. She was great. I would not put up with what she had to deal with, i would have quit.

They need a manager on site. Not only available by phone. And to answer the phone - which the manager didn't. They need more staff. It was one girl at the front desk to handle all people checking in, all the phone calls coming in, and other requests.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.

Every time we go and stay there, the hot tub is not working.It's always out of order, if they're gonna advertise a pool and a hot tub, then a hot tub should be working.

Breakfast

Bright LED lights right infront of window, impossible to block the light from shining into the room, the beds felt like plywood.

The automatic door lock was broken. No key needed to enter ? The room is small and outdated.

A few things. The door was not locked when we got to it (237) and extremely hard to close. We had to slam it!! Also, the price of the room was way overpriced!!

Towels were horrible, thin, like cleaning rags, sheets were old, not bright (some were grey). Room needs a paint refresh, dirty baseboards. ---per night was expecting better.

Evening clerk Hotel employee was wonderful always willing to help.

Rooms needed some maintenance door on daughter's room would not close unless you put a shoulder to it I think it was 121

Pool. Location of the breakfast . Breakfast was good.

Outdated rooms. Very thin walls. Could hear people walking upstairs and snoring at night. Room had unpleasant smell.

Quality feel with a spacious room, thick blankets and soft pillows. Friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view of the harbor. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing I was missing was USB ports for charging.

Location is great. Nice to have a pool for kiddos, a bit cold. The man who did the buffet breakfast was awesome. And so kind. He did a fantastic job.

The green colored hot tub.

It was in a decent location, easy to find

The room door was hard to open. And it had a nasty smell to it.

Clean, comfortable room, staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good.

The hotel is very quiet and we were able to sleep very well.The breakfast is absolutely ¿¿ % the best !! They have everything you could want for breakfast, scrambled eggs,boiled eggs,bacon etc. The ocean is right across the street and is beautiful!!

The blankets and sheets could use some updating.

Comfortable beds, nice bedding,

pool and spa tub were very murky.

Breakfast staff are so helpful and kind. Hotel is right by the ocean and near the Redwood forrest. Restaurant next door is delicious!

Room wasn't exactly the most prepared. Left over candy from previous guests left on the floor, beds were very uncomfortable. Pool was closed with no forewarning for entirety of stay. Overall, stay was good though.

Convenient location, good breakfast, parking lot seemed safe, we left several items in the back of our pickup and nothing was touched.

2 star or less accomodations. Bed platform stuck out from under bed about 5" at the end. I found that with my toe in the middle of the night. Small room, uncomfortable bed, not the quality we are used to from Best Western. Pool out of order.
