The Best Western Plus Northwoods Inn is located within minutes of the Redwood National and State Parks. It Is located off Hwy 101, directly across from the local marina. Free WIFI is available through out the property. Each air-conditioned room offers a flat-screen TV with local channels and movie channels, as well as a desk and complimentary toiletries. Pros +
- The staff was friendly and helpful.
- the manager was cheerful, treating our travel group like family.
- The young lady at the front desk was great. She was doing her best under grueling circumstances. It was like something out of a movie. She was great. I would not put up with what she had to deal with, i would have quit.
Cons -
- The AC stopped working in our room. We called down to the front pretty late at night. They weren't able to fix it during our one night stay but they did discount the room a bit. The beds were a bit too firm for our liking but that's subjective.
- They need a manager on site. Not only available by phone. And to answer the phone - which the manager didn't. They need more staff. It was one girl at the front desk to handle all people checking in, all the phone calls coming in, and other requests.
- Every time we go and stay there, the hot tub is not working.It's always out of order, if they're gonna advertise a pool and a hot tub, then a hot tub should be working.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.
Every time we go and stay there, the hot tub is not working.It's always out of order, if they're gonna advertise a pool and a hot tub, then a hot tub should be working.
