The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles

The location is great. Looking out at night at the City Library etc. was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk handled a difficult situation about the lack of hot water in a calm and friendly manner. The Porter was especially helpful with my bag.

No hot water. The hotel says it has room service, and the hotel restaurants provide it, but it is really outsourced, and the food was terrible, which really needs to be addressed. I was there for the convenience of being close to a meeting, and not fighting traffic to get there. But the hotel didn't provide what I needed to be at my best.

Wonderful downtown LA location that was walking distance from a conference I was attending. The facility is iconic but even after decades feels new. Just riding the elevators as they rise up into the sky with the cityscape is fun. Staff was very good. Rooms exceptionally spacious and comfortable.

I stayed here for a week to celebrate my birthday. This hotel is amazing and everything was exceptional.

The only thing missing was a hot tub

Great staff from valet parking to the bar. Good location, but you will need an Uber to get to the tourist areas. However, it does mean you can get out of LA quicker when you leave if you're driving.

Excellent location, close to the metro and safe. The top floor revolving bar was super nice and the top floor restaurant super expensive but the best steak we’ve ever had. Room was spacious and with an amazing view (we were on the 20th floor). The bar at the reception area had plenty of breakfast and snack options and was open from very early till very late. We would definitely stay here again when in LA!

Minor details - parking is indeed more expensive vs others in the area (but convenient so we used it) and breakfast bought at the property was very expensive. Also in 3 days they never changed the sheets and from the humidity, they had a funny smell.

The location was excellent walking distance from good restaurants. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay.

Very spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. What more can you ask for?

A lack of fresh air?

Staff were nice, polite and professional. Breakfast was excellent.

Parking is too expensive.

How beautiful and fancy the hotel looked and felt. The location was great.

That i arrived too late for valet parking.
