Historic building. They have kept the character of the rooms. Beautiful vintagey bathroom. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are quiet. Great location. Nice view. Quick elevators. Everything!

Nice historic hotel in a great location, the building feels a bit “old school” but everything was really clean and comfortable, hotel had everything you need, staff was friendly and the location doesn’t get much better. Great value for money

The most friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Lovely clean hotel. The perfect location! (Around a 10 minute walk or even less from trump tower ) also pretty much across the street from the worlds largest Starbucks!If I come back to Chicago, il be staying here again!

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! It's right on Michigan Avenue (main street of Chicago) so we could not have asked for a better location for our first time! It's across the street from the Harry Potter shop, extra bonus! (side note, the HP gets busier as the day gets on. We went a couple of times before noon and it was quiet-ish. By 3/4pm there was a queue outside the shop!) There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance (Eataly was a slightly longer walk). Millennium Park is about a 20 minute walk away. The Starbucks Reserve is a block away. Lincoln Park is about a 10 minute bus ride. The staff members were friendly and helpful. A parcel was delivered ahead of our arrival and they found it quickly.
The room was very cramped. We are a family of 4 (2 kids, 11 & 13yo) and there was almost no room to walk around other than get in and out of bed. We booked a Queen Room with two Queen Beds. This room type does not have capacity for a roll-out bed and in hindsight I could have done more due diligence. The receptionist said that the King rooms have space for one.

Great location, beautiful building, stuff friendly, well maintained and clean. However the size of the room was small for two people and luggage, but it perfect for one person. I love the atmosphere of the building smells very good, lovely interior design. I highly recommend.
