    Close to the Ocean
    Supporting a local family business; the room is located in a 130 year old farmhouse outside of town; Peter offered us tea when we arrived; breakfast was yogurt, cereal, fruit, toast, jam, juice and coffee - Peter got up to assist with breakfast even though we had to be up early; ocean can be seen through bedroom window; we were shown a room to use for sitting and reading; can walk to The Pier restaurant in 10 minutes; walk the opposite way 10 minutes to arrive at Point Kean; a very short walk down the road is Kaikoura Seafood BBQ; very quiet during the day and at night
    Mold in shower; no liner in bathroom bin; no lock on bedroom door; pillows are thin; sheep shearing was not open

    Friedly owner,good breakfasts, felt a little like being on a farm
    Great location, great owner, quiet. Got to watch owner sheer a sheep. Friedly dogs,fresh eggs and other things for breakfast, close to seal beach for a nice hike

    Great location near where seals can be seen on the beaches. Very quiet, Make your own breakfast with fresh eggs from hens on site, Got to see Peter, the owner, shere a sheep.
