building well kept, clean and tidy bathroom is very tired and needs updating

Location, room size and layout

We booked the room solely To use the spa and the jets and the jets wouldn’t work which significantly affected our experience and we paid extra for a working spa we didn’t get to use adequately. We tried calling reception numerous times to have the issue rectified but no one took our call and we even called from our mobile phones and still couldn’t get thru. Had same issue in the morning we wanted to request late checkout and couldn’t get thru to reception on the phone. Our breakfast came with hard bread and no butter to out on the bread. Requested extra towels and there was no extra towels. There was no special arrangement for our anniversary/valentines day even though our request was approved.

Bathrooms were a bit dated and refill of the complementary soaps wasn’t the best as my body wash was empty upon arrival and after cleaning service ;), also cleaners took my second card which was left in the card switch

Second bed was not set up and there was plenty of information shared advising 3 people were staying … 1 adult and 2 teenagers

We had a great stay which was enhanced by the best customer experience in being looked after by James M at check in. He went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and ensured our stay, which was for a birthday, was memorable. He made us feel very valued as customers. It is because of this high level of care that this hotel will be our hotel of choice when staying in Perth in future.

The very slow checkin procedure, long queue at checkin and they only manned 2 of the 3 checkin terminals the endless queues for the lifts and not being able to use the stairs ? Pretty much all guests were complaining wont bother booking again

For the price - very old and tired rooms. Dirty and no luggage trolleys available. Shower inside a bath - dangerous and fan in bathroom could not clear the steam. Noisey. Probably wont stay again

Clean and comfortable rooms

Check in took over 50 minutes with not many people in the line. No explanation as to why it took this long. The lifts were unbelievably slow and not showing the correct information (which level you were on and going up or down).

The staff were incredibly friendly and polite.

I did not get the room that I booked, my aircon did not work and my room was very stuffy, the shower had black hairs in it when I first arrived and went to shower (well before my other guest who was joining me came), the towels I had smelt damp like they’d been left wet for a long time

Room was clean and comfy pretty standard nothing special

We paid 300 plus $ for one night and we got a room on the first floor with a window view of the wall of the building beside us. Kind of expected a nicer spot with that price

Huge sized suite with great view of river .Room had everything we needed. Could easily handle up to 4 people sleeping in the room .Suite has a door to separate the two rooms which works well for noise and privacy. Super comfy bed made for great sleep.

On arrival to suite room 805, we found the fridge had been left off long enough to have defrosted and leaked onto the floor of the kitchenette. Air conditioning in both rooms have pre set temprature which can not be adjusted. Picked up phone to call reception , phone lines in both rooms out of service. Couldn't call room service due to this also .On alerting reception staff of issues, staff shrugged sholders and said they would inform maintenance. While at reception, noticed that a delivery of flowers for us had been made . Questioned staff if ours and replied they had tried several times to call the room. Refer to phone line issue. Staff to lazy to bring flowers to room as specifically requested at time of booking. Very average service.After 2 hours in Room 805 , a horrible vibration was coming from one of the window frames. Reported this to reception with video and requested new room.Offered room 605 immediately, same suite room layout so happy with that. Again , staff to lazy/incompetant to assist moving us and our belongings 2 floors so we had to make two trips ourselves.605 suite was of similar condition as 805 , same view but no window noise. Sinks cracked in main bathroom are a bad look. Again, everything appears age / wear related with a lack of basic general maintenance.
