The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island

Loved the Ritz Kids, provides activities for the kids of all ages - my husband and I spent some alone time while my daughter had "Night Out" which includes dinner/movie and this particular night they had a bon fire on the beach which we all attended

For the price and star level, sheets were missing from the pull out bed, should have been made up -I ended up calling desk services to bring linen and I made up the bed

Although we had a major issue with our rooms, the staff and management were very accommodating and quick to respond and resolve.

The Service and Staff were outstanding!!!

They closed the pool early for a couple of private events.

Every minute at the Ritz is absolutely magnificent. Every staff member is as nice as they can be. Professional, personable, helpful.

Every time I stay at this hotel, my nose runs & burns from the scent that they pump through the lobby. It could be a little less strong.

Beautiful property overall. We had a gorgeous beach view with a sunrise.

Food quality was average, lots of kids running around in what he had expected to be an exclusive resort where we could quietly spend the weekend especially since we were paying over $1200 per night!

All svcs except pkg and bellman was excellent.

The parking logistics were awful. The first time I sent a text for my car and gave them 20 mins before coming down stairs,. I had to wait an additional 15mins before car arrived. The second time I called, no difference in response time...all svcs. I waited 30mins in room for bellman which never came. I carried my bags down stairs.

Your reservation service who made the reservation was not very good. On 5/18/23 I requested an oceanfront room & he gave me an oceanview. I questioned him about it & he insisted it was the same thing…which I didn’t feel was correct. Sure enough when we arrived it was not oceanfront & none were available by check-in on 6/23/23. Then he tried (3) times to charge the total at the time of reservation but my cc company denied the charge all three times. I found out later he wasn’t supposed to do that. You’re charged on site.

What you would expect out of a Ritz. Clean luxurious and generally accommodating.

A little bit on the older side, and could use some renovations.

good location and view over the beach. Nice patio for breakfast and sushi.

no basic amenities in the room such as glasses & microwave. No bathtub

The location was beautiful and the staff attentive.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary but found it to be more of a family type setting meaning kids everywhere. The restaurant settings were also not accommodating to wheel chair due to excessive crowding. We ordered room service instead.
