Palazzo Lakeside Hotel

Its location

We saw a gecko and multiple spiders in the room; one of which bit my son's leg. They had us pay undisclosed resort fees that we did not know about or the amount until we got there, even though it is far from a decent hotel experience let alone a resort.

Staff was nice, breakfast was amazing

Guests were loud up and down the hall all night, cars thumping music all night and smoking marijuana and drinking all around the vehicles, the room had a weird smell covered up with cleaner. Definitely catfish hotel from the pictures online

Location and price and it was a ok decent hotel stayed here before but in the main building which I now know is the better building. but there was a nice loud smoke shop right outside the property having parties every night

Yes the loud people all in my building screaming paryting doing drugs and the front desk person not knowing much english and had a very hard time explaining everything to me but yet could speak cuban to the loud annoying guests that were having parties

The confu beds and hot water pressure

I was given a queen room when I know for a fact I requested a king… all kings were sold out staff did help with an alternative, they gave me a late checkout THE RESORT FEE!!!! I was highly upset how was this considered a resort?!!??

There was an additional $159 feet when we arrived for a resort fee but they never cleaned our room. Then they painted with spray paint and it smelled up our room. The showers dribble with water and they are not 7 mi s from Disney they are 20 mins.

It was clean.

No Smoking on the property. They have an area far away from the building they could set up an area for smokers. It was a little strange that the building was surrounded by fencing and only one way in or out via remote activated gate. Fire Hazard...

The pictures online. The appearance of the lobby looks like they spent money on refurbishing it rather than what matters most like the room, the staff and meeting expectations.

We were a party of five that were placed in a room with ONE bed. There was a sofa bed but no blankets or pillows. Had to go downstairs to front desk bc no one answered. They said they ran out of rooms with two beds, ran out of pillows and blankets.

The bed was comfortable but the sheets and pillows were really really bad.

The bathroom looked like it had a murder in it. The hallway smelled like a locker room. The staff was terribly rude. Getting anything delivered will cost you 10 dollar per package. They do not disclose this. If you don't return your keys you have to pay.

The lobby was real nice

The shower didn’t drain, no electric plugs near the beds ,the noise outside the rooms was terrible at night then early in the morning it was worse

Location is great. Value and room size also great.

Minor (very minor) breakfast is a bit limited, what's there is good but need to make the waffle station (there are 3 machines), more efficient, its always a back up. Also the toasters are really slow. Theres also no orange juice...Again minor points, what they have is good, but a couple of small tweaks would make it really good.

The positive side is that the breakfast was good and the room was clean.Important tip: when you arrive, ask how to enter because the signage is confusing. You have to enter through a gate by ringing a bell, and it is not well marked.

The Palazzo Lakeside hotel has some good points, but also things that need improvement.In room #230, the air conditioner was very noisy, which was annoying, and the TV had no available channels to watch.

It was a last minute business booking that is close to where I needed to be the next day. Checked in and my room looked 10 times cleaner newer and better online than in person. The couch was dirty color with stains on it. The room did not smell fresh. Bathroom was very clean.The bed looked like it was made, but not until I open the covers after dinner and sheets were wrinkled and there many long Black strands of hair. It did not smelled fresh. I called downstairs and no one picked up. It was about 9pm, I caught a nice staff member told him I needed house keeping help. He said they left for the day, so he gave me sheets and comforter that I made myself. I did not sleep well and was tired from work and I checked out peacefully the next day no drama as I did not want to waste my valuable time to complain and tell staff.Breakfast included is a nice touch, breakfast room is nice but felt like a loud hectic cafeteria. The little hammocks, the pool and deck by water looks great, just did not have time to enjoy. Would I return again? Most likely not since it seems more family friendly than business friendly and am now afraid to get a dirty room again lol

Rooms are not that clean and fresh smelling and couch in room 313 was dirty I did not want to touch or sit.

The location, service and breakfast was wonderful. It was gated so it was safe. It was a non-smoking property which I loved. Check-in was easy and very friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and a very nice dining room. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We liked the rainhead shower in the bathroom and the double sinks.

The hardwood floors in the room are very dirty. They turned our feet black. There was a couple dirty spots on our bath towels. They smelled clean, but it just looks like it was a stain that they could not get out so we ended up using the hand towels to dry off with.
