The grounds in which Coachman's was on were beautiful, peaceful, real scenic place. It was a good central location for accessing all locations within the Cornwall area.

Customer Service - Steve was approachable and advised myself and my partner to return earlier than our check in time as Coachman's was going to be ready for us. However, Alex was very stern with us upon our first meeting her. Alex stated 'the floor's wet and you're early' - We felt like naughty school children. Electric - We booked through [Link Redacted] and not once did it mention an extra charge, however, when we arrived we were asked to pay £10 electric upon our departure. Having looked through other sites the accommodation is on this seems to only be mentioned on 2. WIFI - We were not too bothered about this, however again when looking the accommodation up it states on [Link Redacted] WIFI is free and accessible but there is a charge to this. It was also not accessible during our stay as the Village Inn was closed due to Covid-19. Further communication would have been nice regarding this as the booklet left for guests states to go to the Village Inn. Smell - we understand that the property is an old building so did not expect it to smell of roses, however the smell of damp and muskiness that hits you when you enter was near on unbearable. Both me and my partner woke with a headache daily and we could not wait to get up and leave for the day, which is such a shame as the grounds were ideal for a peaceful romantic break away. The rug within Coachman's was wet to walk on so we were glad we took our sliders with us to wear. We had to wash everything when we returned home. The shower or lack of was disappointing. To be able to shower we had to practically sit down in the bath as the shower hose was not long enough for you to stand up. It was also attached to the taps and no means of preventing water from going over the bathroom floor. The extractor fan in the bathroom sounded as though it was going to take off every time the bathroom light was switched on.
